Get those Maidenhead tickets on sale then! Still lots to be sorted though in terms of social distancing rules, temperature checks, hospitality, ground movement etc. The devil will be in detail but I wonder if grounds will have to allocate seats as opposed to allowing people on terraces?

2,625 max if in tier 1 and 2,000 if in tier 2. Obviously 0 if in tier 3.

Would imagine weβll be in Tier 1 or 2 so hope weβd get at least 2,000. Assume away fans wonβt be allowed (especially at the expense of home fans)

Would have thought that we would struggle to attract 2,000 in the present circumstances. A lot of fans have remained in lockdown because of their susceptibility to infection either because of age and/or underlying diseases. Jill and I fall in the latter group - We haven't been out of the village in 6 months. At the moment, much though we miss our football, we've decided to wait a bit longer before coming back.

Much as I miss going to the games I won't be taking the risk until I can get myself vaccinated.

Think alot of fans will be thinking like yourselves Taylov and B4M, unless the club can come up with a clever way of segregating age groups etc, we have plenty of room in our stadium to fit people safely however I think until we have regular quick testing facilities in this area, people won't become comfortable. I was in Liverpool at the weekend and got a test, walked straight in, QR scan, 2 mins back out and 30 mins later text to say all clear, my partner gets a test each time she goes shopping. Hopefully more regions will get this set up soon.

Understand your concerns taylov and bfm and agree that certain fans will be apprehensive. Hopefully the club will provide details of the COVID safety measures they will provide and wearing of masks and social distancing will be adhered to by all fans who just want to watch live football.

I actually went to 10 games from the second week of September to the end of August and have been to work most days since March, even though I very much appreciate social distancing.
However a four figure crowd will present challenges of its' own and I do not know whether there will be large queues for admission, food, the bar and the toilets.

Good to see the club communicating on this, and keeping us informed (and wanted), even though there is no concrete news yet.
There will be many fans like the ones above who won't feel comfortable about going back yet; I'm sure the club will respect that, and will make things as safe as possible for those that do go back.
I saw about 20 games Aug-Oct and personally felt pretty safe outside with sensible social distancing (biggest crowd 341). Not everyone was sensible, though, I have to say.... How that would be sitting in a stand with a relatively low roof and others coming in/out, plus, as unknownquantity says, with a bigger crowd, food, bar and toilets (and of course the shop!) I'm not quite so sure - I'd have to see how it was planned out. I've mentioned before on here that I reckon a capacity of 800-900 should be possible with little risk, make it higher and we'll have to see. As I say, I'm sure the club will do a good job.

No club in their right mind will be serving food and drinks/alcohol. Its not needed for a 90 min game.

True, but the games will probably cost them money to host (both stands open, more stewarding, etc.) in that case.
And fewer people may attend (lack of food etc. wouldn't affect me, but it might others).

Be useful to know if I get up there in next few weeks.
