The news this morning suggests season will not start assuming we can't start without crowds ☹

I wonder how many clubs will be able to survive at our level if this shutdown lasts more than a month or so? Having made this decision, the Government has locked non-league football into shutdown until the virus threat is over and all the data suggests that this won't end soon.

How will the FA Cup work, step 3 and below are playing, football league playing but steps 1 and 2 not starting. Ask Doswell and the rest of the wristers who turned our leagues into elite league. To go up via the play offs. Worked well for um didn't it.
Now we are ****ed due to it. I said all along we should have just cancelled the season. Just as we should have not have to have travelled to Nottingham. Our league is run by ****witts, who wait for the leagues above to make decisions. Before then they do.

Non-league Football clubs need to be mothballed until next year and without crowds or additional funding I would assume the football league will be on the brink of collapse as clubs will not be able to fulfil the season.

No that was only for the regional league. National league was always going to be classed as elite with playoffs etc going ahead. This league is almost entirely professional. For the good of the game the show must go on. Let’s hope the game and the premier league can get some funding down to this league to help clubs out

Fans may not to be able to return to watch live sporting events in England until the end of March 2021 at the earliest according to the BBC.
At a meeting on Tuesday, sports governing bodies - including those from football, rugby, cricket, Formula 1 and horse racing - were told to prepare for no spectators throughout the winter.

Ridiculous, could end up with 67 elite non league clubs going bust and team who wins the Ryman/Southern/Northern Prem being Kings of non league this season. Meanwhile back in normal non elite football land the show goes on with record crowds and many a sold out FA Cup yesterday. I even had a covid secure programme sold to me at Wellington AFC last week!

We don’t know how long the virus will go on for. Need to just crack on with the season. Crowds can come later on

A week today...
We are scheduled to be at home to Torquay.
What will happen? We still don't know. Sadly, I don't expect to be there watching.
