Yes, I'm not sure whether the official clarification gets Ben out of jail! And I can't see why the club needs to apologise anyway. Personally, I would be on the offensive if the NL tried on any censure.

Why doesn't the National League just apologise to Ben and admit that it is they who were in the wrong in putting the health of so many at risk?
I don't have any high regard for the people who run either the Premier League or the EFL but their decision to cease operations for the immediate period was based on sound advice from the professional expertise they have at their disposal.
The National League elected to ignore what was clearly right and their insistence that clubs travel and play was crass stupidity. Any attempt on their part to try to sanction Eastleigh or Ben Strevens who had the courage to speak up for his players and everyone else affected will highlight even more what a bunch of half wits they are with their heads buries deep in the sand.

I'm fully behind Ben for what he said post game. Mr Devonshire had some nice words to say as well. Had a great day Saturday BUT we shouldn't have played.
