Stewards were disgraceful today. Taking a drum away from a young lad. There was no hallm being done. They let him carry it in through the gates. Let him walk the length of the ground. Sit in the stand and play it for ten minutes. Before three grown men took it of the lad. Seemingly they did it before a few years ago. Rediculous. We should all take a drum next time.

I hope the lad had the drum returned after the game.
I listened to the game and Ian Wilding had to think on his feet and 'waffle' (rather well, actually) for 20 mins. He was sitting in one of the old stands, and during that time all I could hear was gentle chat from the Woking fans, followed by polite applause when Rob was carried off. Blimey, I thought at the time, that's surprisingly respectful, forgetting the mic wasn't picking up noise from the Woking neanderthals. Agree, a lot of them, not all, are not what the game needs.

Martin the drum was taken back to the minibus after it was confiscated. The Woking fans behind the goal, where the injury was in the penalty area, were discraceful but their stewards were ineffectual as usual apart from evicting one of our fans for telling their fans not to disrespect our injured player. Hope we don’t have to go to their ground again.

Talking of lack of respect for away teams and their supporters, their online info for those driving to the ground makes no mention whatever of the excellent 3 hr free car park EXACTLY opposite their ground. Indeed, it recommends you park miles away!! I found it through my own research!!
