Can we get another 3 points in quick succession? Here’s hoping.

A win 1-0. First clean sheet of the season.
A bit fortunate at times perhaps, but great to get 3 points.

Good result, but not very entertaining for the neutral. Rather a dour midfield battle. We looked confident off the back of the Barnet win and really only allowed Bromley into it for the last 20 mins of the first half, and the last five minutes when they had one chance to equalise.
The back 5 looked pretty good to me, and Miley and Gobern worked hard in midfield. Not sure how well it worked up front, but we seemed to create most of the chances that were going.
Bromley moaned and fell over quite a lot, and were pretty ineffective up front. Apart from allowing two unmarked headers in the first five minutes (one we scored from) I thought they defended quite well too.
A far cry from the 4-4 we had here last season with them, but we got the three points this time!

Great match I thought. We never looked like conceding!! So solid at the back. The back 4 of Hare Wynter Johnson and green we’re just awesome. So solid. Réda looks like a new man!! So quick and didn’t put a foot wrong all game. Gobern very neat player, very confident on the ball and Miley for me was just excellent yet again.
If we play like that all year we’ll be well up there come the end of the season. I’m so confident after watching that. Can’t wait to get back down and watch the boys again!!

Great for 20 minutes, bang average for 70 minutes. However a clean sheet and you'll never see me moan about a 1-0. Now for Wrexham!

Best team performance of the season by some way last night with a change of shape. Not the greatest of games, but we thoroughly deserved the win, which could have been by 2 or 3 but for another inspired display by the visiting keeper. Cav & Zeb are automatic starters for me, but also, the likes of Mark Yeates, Oscar Goburn, Alex Wynter & Reda Johnson had their best games so far this term. Big test on Saturday v Wrexham, who are top ATM, but no team is now 100%.

For the first time in a while, we're playing as a team. In some parts it was a bit scrappy but you can't fault the lads determination. Quite a few lost balls were chased and a lot of 50/50s were won. You don't get that without hard work. You can also see how close they're as a team just with how they celebrate goals now.
Reda Johnson proved he's the best defender in the league; hopefully we can keep these performances going.

Agree that it was a great performance, thought Wynter and Gobern had great games. Still surprising Zebroski and Miley did not start the season but last night was our strongest performance for some time. More than anything, the lads looked really up for the fight from start to finish. This is to be expected from professional footballers, but I've not seen this focus and steely determination from our team for a long time. Many positives.
Not sure about the praise of Reda Johnson, thought he looked quite uncomfortable at times and had to be bailed out by others around him. Likes to shepherd the ball out instead of putting his foot through it, nearly cost us a goal. But a clean sheet nonetheless!
Looking forward to the game Saturday. I would have taken 6pts from 12 at the start of the season, 9 from 15 would be fantastic.

Admittedly I'm rather bias, a lot of my family are Plymouth fans and Reda was immense for them (with N'Gala funnily enough). He has a lot to prove for sure, the second half right in front of where I was I thought he was quality.

Thought Reda proved what was always obvious. When fit he is a quality footballer. 4 in a row from him is unexpected and seriously good news.
