I would so like a brief synopsis of the game, I couldn't be there, neither could I listen to Radio Solent, I am not a twitterite, so comment on Barnet's whatever is of no use (apologies to the above posters). Please fellow supporters a quick post would be so welcomed, Pop over to the other forum, Callum has written an excellent report of the game and our players.

Eastleigh secured their first win of the season, with a 2-1 victory over Barnet at The Hive.
Michael Green scored his first league goal in three and a half years with an audacious strike from 30 yards before McCallum doubled the Spitfire’s advantage with a second half header.
Barnet grabbed one back in the 90th minute through Charlee Adams, but it’s the Spitfire’s who soared to their first victory of the campaign.
Andy Hessenthaler drafted Cav Miley and Chris Zebroski into the starting line-up at the Hive against his former club- who he appeared for 40 times in the league.
It was the hosts who set the pace early on and had the first chance as a Cheye Alexander cross was cleared only as far as Adams, whose shot just went over which was then followed up by Medy Elito’s shot that was dragged just wide.
However, the Spitfires took the lead after 20 minutes as the ball fell to Michael Green outside the box and he hit the ball perfectly with his left foot to strike it past a stretching Mark Cousins into the top right corner.
Another couple of chances fell to the Bees on the brink of half time as another cross was delivered towards Dan Sparkes, who cushioned the ball for Byron Harrison, but his shot went over.
Graham Stack, on the return to his old club, shone for the Spitfires in goal only moments before the break. Shaquile Coulthirst was played in one-on-one, but Stack was equal to the effort and made a great save to put the ball out for a corner. From the resulting corner Stack produced another stunning save when he turned behind Dan Sparkes’ had an attempt from the edge of the box.
Just past the hour mark, Eastleigh made it 2-0. Josh Hare’s free kick was met by Paul McCallum at the far post, who headed the ball down and past Cousins.
Barnet managed to put Eastleigh under some pressure in the final few minutes as they grabbed a late goal. Adams hit a powerful shot on the edge of the box which found its way into the near bottom corner.
But, the Spitfires held on and now have their first victory of the new National League campaign. They will host Bromley FC at the Silverlake Stadium on Tuesday.
