They've had a mixed start with a good point at Aldershot and 2 dropped at Home to Braintree. Although you could look at it another way, that they have played 2 teams that haven't won a game, while we have lost to 2 of the top 7!!! Hopefully we will mix it up a bit and give Zeb & Cav a start, cannot say that I am holding out much hope for anything more then another defeat. Fingers crossed I'm wrong and we start the season tomorrow and get our first 3 points

We have to be positive, do an England 3 at the back 4 in midfield and 3 up front we have the players, if AH starts worrying about points at this stage and becomes negative it will fester and grow....then the board will think of firing him...have faith AH is the man, he just needs to wake up his players to believe they can reach the ⭐️

Would think there would be changes in the line up tomorrow. Fingers crossed we can get a result.

We have to start Cav and Zeb and if we’re playing 3-4-3 as we seemed to be attempting at Sutton, Danny Hollands certainly isn’t our play maker. Would love to see earlier changes made as players tire - leaving it to the 70th minute is losing us games. The introduction of Cav and Zeb livened up the game against Sutton.

Considering how poor Braintree were last season, they finished 6th but went up via the PO,s and they got a point at Barnet Tuesday night, you would expect us to at least get a draw today wouldn't you. If we get nothing, then we have big problems. Watch the stewards at Barnet, they can't be trusted, be careful what you say, they make things up. One of our supporters was accused of racism, he was arrested, and had to attend court, found not guilty. Otherwise its a nice little ground, and a good trip, enjoy it.

Much needed win today, let’s hope we follow it up with 2 more decent results this week coming.

This is one strange league, again, 3 games in and only half the teams have won a game. Only the mighty Eastleigh have not drawn a game

Well done the Spitfires. Barnet fans in an absolute funk on their forum this evening. Its only the second Saturday of the season and they all seem to be sure of relegation. There is a curious belief that they can only have a good season under Martin Allen. Nice to see unbeaten Solihull in a 4-way tie at the top on 9 points, and even nicer to see Salford's millionaires in the early drop zone. Funny old game.

Barnet's crowd on Tuesday v Braintree approx 1500, today just over 1000, a drop of 33%!!!

There was a BOGOF offer on Tuesday night according to the Barnet forum so that may have been a factor, but there's no getting away from the fact that the 3rd lowest crowd of today in the NL - 1028 - has been a real shocker for Bees fans. Only Gateshead (693) and Solihull (867) were lower. In contrast, the other relegated FL club, Chesterfield, attracted the day's highest gate of just under 5,000 for the visit of Braintree.

I would so like a brief synopsis of the game, I couldn't be there, neither could I listen to Radio Solent, I am not a twitterite, so comment on Barnet's whatever is of no use (apologies to the above posters). Please fellow supporters a quick post would be so welcomed,
