He might have agreed a sale to someone but doesn't mean its a done deal. If he has then its bound to be someone he knows as hes already stated. I do think we expect too much information too soon. Give Mr Donald a bit of space

FWIW, the NL has to approve the deal/takeover first.

Just because a news story appears, doesn't mean EFC have to respond to it. Rest assured when we have new owners we will hear about it pronto.
Also bear in mind just because something has been agreed doesn't mean it is going to happen. It only happens when the documents are signed, sealed and delivered. Before then its not done, once that has been completed we will find out, very very shortly afterwards. Before they have been signed, there is nothing to say.

I can't find any other reference to this proposed sale anywhere. This seems to be a one off article

I believe it was on SD's twitter that he has agreed a sale. I've seen it on Ian Wildings twitter......Radio Solent fella.

You need to get into the reality that the club has been sold, who too? We don’t know, what we do know is the there is a willing buyer and the current owner has agreed terms and all that’s neede is ratification from the league. Guess what the same goes for the purchase of Sunderland FC done deal just waiting for the ratification from the EFL.

Yup sale agreed rather than sold (anyone has ever bought/sold a house will appreciate the difference!). But it does appear imminent, probably will be revealed by this time next week at a guess.
Realise it was on the BBC as a story today but I doubt a whole lot has changed other than SD has presumably told someone at solent that he has agreed a sale for EFC.
I suppose the (rather unlikely) possibility presents itself that SD could sell Eastleigh FC and the Sunderland purchase could not go through!
All will become a lot clearer fairly shortly one would assume
