It's now been announced on the club's Twitter feed that the game is being shown live on BT Sport in the Hangar. Doors open 11.30, closes 15.00. So it's now clear & unambiguous.

its very frustrating that the actual club website does not contain any decent news whatsoever. For some people facebook and twitter are not available. The Club web site should be the one place every bit of news should be

I've now replied to the Tweet saying it should have gone on the club's official website first etc. I wonder if it will make a difference?

People will notice that the bar will close at 3pm. This game will be on live at The Spitfire Pub, The Station Pub, both in High Street, and live also at Eastleigh Working Mens Club (Opposite Bus Station) and Locomotive Club (Top of Station Hill) and all these venues are open ALL day. While I can appreciate that the Hangar is revenue for the club, the 3pm close is the breaker, therefore I imagine a lot of Eastleigh fans will venture into the town centre to watch it.
How many fans turn up at the ground when Eastleigh are playing live away....that's the key point...is it viable to open when it's available at any pub/club that has BT. So those fans who have asked that the Hangar opens had better turn up then.
I realise I've given free advertisement to places in Eastleigh but the majority of us know it will be shown live at those venues and my comments are controversial to that extent but my whole point centre's on the issue of whether the hangar needs to open at all for this game.

Not everyone can walk to any of those pubs in Eastleigh or wants to spend all day in a bar. Such people may then want to support the club financially in a small way by turning up at the Hangar.

Booked my seat on the bus this morning. Apparently there are now 35 of us going by coach.

I'm not disagreeing with that Martin, my question is about is it really viable for the hangar to open? The club has opened it for your benefit, you've asked for it to be open so I hope you all go to the hangar and financially support the effort the club has made. I'm sure you'll be there Martin, please have a quick count and let us know the numbers. I'll be in the town and I'll be telling as many people as I can that their home football team is live on the telly and to see the progress of the local football team, I want them to be impressed, I want them to think about actually going to the Silverlake themselves next Friday. I just think we can do more good for the club long term this way, than all gather in the hangar and encourage nobody new. Its a personal choice obviously but if it encourages just three or four new people to go and take up season tickets, it might make more money for the club than the hangar takes on Saturday

I think its good that we are showing the game at the club. Given we have the facilities to screen BT Sport it would seem to be a little bit "tinpot" not too. I applaud any efforts to get EFC fans together at the club, and what better way than watching Eastleigh games? (all beit this one on TV rather than live)
I was at EFC to watch the Barrow game 2 years ago (Our last televised away game?) and there were about 100 of us there, I doubt we'll get that many on Saturday, but I think its certainly worthwhile. I doubt it costs much to open the Hangar for a few hours, so a bit of a no brainer IMO
