Yes, I think that’s pretty obvious. I don’t think the club should be laying down deadlines after the debacle of the last two seasons when it comes to getting fans back on board. Let the ‘deadline’ stretch til August.

IIRC, Early Bird ST sale deadline is extended most seasons. Seems reasonable to set a date and then extend it to the end of the season.

What's the point in setting a deadline if you don't keep to it?
If you do it more than once then it will be a 'cry wolf' situation where nobody takes it seriously and cashflow/customer numbers might be affected.

How can you forget a book with the sole purpose of trying to get into a football ground?

How can you forget a book with the sole purpose of trying to get into a football ground? Might of exaggerated of every week. But when you have other things in the day other then a sole purpose of getting in a football ground it's easily done! I know many fans that have had to turn back to get season tickets

I double check everything these days when I go anywhere. Sign of ageing.

At least if someone can't make it a ticket can be lent, torn out and handed over, rather than trusting somebody with a card for the whole season.

Club will chose most cost effective way of doing it so pointless anyone venting their personal preferences. It’s irrelevant.

Looking at the thread last year the early bird season ticket expired at the end of April and even then people thought that was too early, so I wonder whose idea was initially to change this to the end of March?
Even though I have seen 12 home league games out of 20 and as things stand I hope to be able to do the same next season I am not sure whether renewing my season ticket is my favoured option, although this has absolutely nothing to do with performances this season. I have never sat in my allocated seat and much prefer to choose where I sit on arrival. Also like spitfire 9 I have had on a couple of occasions had to alter my route to the game in order to retrieve my season ticket.

must admit i would prefer card too, the book is really bulky.
card you can just stick in your wallet with your other cards, no hassle
would think it would be as cheap as the book with all the pages too?

As I said the club will always choose the cheapest option.
