Not surprised that some are deciding not to renew, equally if we start next season having made a few signings and then win the first 3 games I have no doubt that they will be back and at the price we charge why wouldn't they be.
Truth is the 4 seasons prior to this one have been the most successful in the clubs history. Winning the title, reaching the play offs and FA Cup 3rd round twice is outstanding for a club at our level and has tripled the attendance.
However no club can maintain that amount of progress, mistakes will be and have been made and consolidation is needed and decisions have been made to build a foundation for the future and tackle the football side in more sensible manner.
It's a long journey not a short trip.

I think that’s a fair summary of it. I know everybody works very hard behind the scenes and I wish the club well for the future.

Right. Lets have a little wager. Does anyone know how many season tickets we had sold come the start of the 2017/18 season? I bet we sell more by the start of 2018/19.

I have not enjoyed this season at all. I wrote in November that I would continue to support the Club and Chairman, no matter what happened. As I have got some health issues at the moment, it's unlikely that I'll be able to attend many more games this season. However, it's that eternal optimism of the football fan, that drives you forward. Next season will ALWAYS be better. Because I have that hope, and need to have something to look forward to, I have renewed our season tickets. Could I urge you all to do the same, and not desert the Club and the Chairman?

I suspect the majority will renew Bruce (at £5 a game it's a no-brainer) but the vocal few will want you to know that they are not going anymore and if/when things look brighter they will be back telling everyone that they are the backbone of the club.

Well said Bruce Forbes. So lets get the figure to 1250. That has to be the target come the start of the new season. Not only do I think we can do it, I think we will do it.

Of the home games, I've only missed Guiseley this season - IMO I've seen about as many good games as bad games, with about the same number of average games too. Hartlepool was the best game I've seen so far, and Halifax was definitely the worst.
'Good' for me is based more on entertainment value, than how Eastleigh played, although both would be nice :-)
This is probably slightly better than last season, which was certainly worse than the season before that.
We have four potentially quite attractive games to round this season off, too.
With the season ticket prices being the same, and the chance of seeing some more decent teams at the Silverlake next season, I think it's still good value. Obviously it would be nice to see the home team doing a bit better, though ;-)

Guiseley was a decent game, we won 4-2.
I think (I've said it before) that for a mid or lower conference team we do fairly well for entertainment at the silverlake. Arguably we play too much football at times, there were a few passing moves in our half with the ball being passed around which has the potential to go horribly wrong.
We have seen the second most goals in our league games this season (Fylde are top).
Anyway those 2 late goals tonight may just have persuaded a few to buy season tickets for next season!

Just on Club's Twitter - "Due to popular demand, our #EarlyBird season ticket offer is being EXTENDED! You now have until the end of APRIL to secure your seat!"

Hopefully will swell the numbers. Having the early bird close weeks before the end of the season did seem a little premature

What else do we play then during the game? Netball, hockey, rugby....I'm baffled, it looks like football all the time to me!!

you are right SOE, total football at all times. Just like Cruyff and the dutch team in 1974 :0)
I meant too much passing at the back, rather than being a bit more pragmatic/safe and hitting it long sometimes

Just on Club's Twitter - "Due to popular demand, our #EarlyBird season ticket offer is being EXTENDED! You now have until the end of APRIL to secure your seat!" The cynic in me says 'popular demand me ar$e!'. Expected sales are not happening so the carrot is being dangled for longer.
