You always tend to have one main rival regardless of whether you're in the same division or not in any given season. I might be wrong, so open to be corrected, I believe our rivals has always been Havant, particularly with regards to the Ian Baird/Tom Jordan situations. Our real nearest rivals in non league is obviously AFC Stoneham though far apart in the pyramid structure. Soursbury aren't even in our County are they....being in Wiltshire!!!!

As far as I recall we never really had a real rival (unless maybe Totton or Andover Town)? until Dossie came along and started our climb up the pyramid. Then it became the Sourboys who were basically jealous of our rapid ascent. Then as SoE pointed out, the Baird/Jordan scenario started some bad blood at boardroom level between us & Haven't & Neverwillville, that filtered down to the terraces and so they became our rivals - hopefully they will somehow scrape promotion so we can renew the good natured banter between the fans, and we can get 6 points and put them back in their place next season! Woking & Aldershot don't count. They have each other and are jus a couple of small local teams that we are also about to eclipse (already have eclipsed Woking)!

I would now like to think that it IS Aldershot as it always provides a decent crowd and a Hampshire Derby , it’s always a fixture I look out for, besides we are undefeated against them in the 4 years since this level , looking forward to the bank holiday game, hopefully a great following from this end.

I'd say our two major rivals are Aldershot and Woking. I don't think, at our level, you can really have your major rival more than one level between you. Havant has a bit of history, but the clubs are friends now, and anyway I just think we have left them well behind us now (and before anyone says they could join us in the National league next season) - I'll stick my neck out and forecast them to tail off and NOT to get promoted.

Woking are a despicable little team that are green with envy that we have surpassed them in terms of bigger non league teams. They have some nasty little fans that make any visit to their horrible little ground a chore. I've been there a few times as a neutral and always get the feeling their little chavs are just waiting to start trouble. But they are not rivals of ours.

Woking have fans that go to fight, not watch the football, how sad is that. The worse part is the stewards let them get on with it so they are just as bad. There will be a major incident in their ground one day simply because they aren't doing anything to prevent it happening. When it does happen the club will start playing 'pass the blame game' Not me guv, honest!!
