😃 You're so right. They're alright at picking on a couple of 16 yr olds to justify their afternoons work, but when it comes to someone who's capable of shouting "f**k off" they absolutely bottle it.
They soon slung out the group of vociferous youngsters who followed Eastleigh, but don't touch away supporters of the same ilk.
Even this season when Dagenham came to town they stood by while 3-4 drunk men tool the pi$$ out of one of our best known fans instead of throwing them out. Resulting in violence at the end of the game.

Good for them. Morons just cannot get away with it in this day and age.

As regards away fans. If they were kept off the hatched areas along the side of the pitch it might help stop some of the stupid acts by away fans. A couple of times this season I have stood on the hatched areas and refused to move until the away fans had been moved. Which I think is fair ie stewards treating both sets of fans the same. First time ,They did move the Wrexham fans back. (I returned to my standing area)For about five minutes and they were back again. So I moved back, to be given a gob full from a steward. For being immature and worse than my 5 year old son. Second time I was told that I would be ejected, if I did move. So I walked out. I will continue to carry on with standing in the hatched areas, When away fans are allowed to do it.
I think the stewards do a great job by and large. My only complaint is they don't treat both sets of fans the same.

Reasonable stance to take, L&P, but have you discussed the matter with Richard Montigue? Dunno if it would make any difference but it might become clear why away fans are treated more favourable than home fans, on the face of it.

I don’t notice whether away fans are standing on hatched lines, too busy watching the game!
Seems a bit childish really? What if the away fans are refusing to move from the area because they see a home fan(s) stood in the same area. Would be a stand off!! I think your actions are wasting the stewards time and resources
Talking to the main steward before a match sounds a good idea if the matter is important to you
