Sorry about this old chestnut but wondered about state of the pitch after the typical Xmas day weather and the amount of rain we had. We have a brief dry spell before the predicted heavy rain prior to kick off. Q How is the Pitch? Q Is there a pitch inspection planned? Q If so what time?
I imagine the game should be ok but given our luck this year anything could happen.

It’s looking pretty good.
No inspection

Sadly family commitments prevent me being there today, so from a selfish point of view it being called off wouldn't be a bad thing. Can't see it though; we haven't had that much rain, but Saturday must be a doubt if we get the rain forecast. Hopefully we'll get another 3 points today. As much as good manners allow, will be following progress online. Good luck.

Heavy rain forecast from early afternoon for the rest of the day.
Not much we can do about that. Hope the pitch holds up when it starts. The forecast could be wrong, of course ;-)

Must say the pitch has been pretty good since we had the corner bit relaid.
Hopefully we can build on that good result at Dag and Red. If you look at the Torquay forum they are expecting nothing from the visit here.
