I'm predicting a fabulous match which we lose 5-3. Its great entertainment though so we'll all enjoy it anyway!
On a serious note, everybody at EFC will pay full respect for your minutes silence.

Michael, if we did lose 5-3 it would be fun, exciting, action packed, entertaining, and put a smile on peoples faces and make any new fan think Eastleigh is a place they can go and enjoy their football. I would seriously hate to be stuck in a lift with you zzzzz

Bromley fan here in peace. I know where you're coming from, when your team should be doing better it gets so frustrating, but as a total non-league fan, keep the faith. This week has been very sad for our club as our long serving President Glyn Beverley passed away due to illness. There will be a minutes silence before the match tomorrow and our players will be wearing black armbands. I'm sure your fans will have full respect. We have a 90 minutes silence mate!

Yes, we let slip a 2-0 lead and dropped more points but that was the most entertaining football match I have seen at Silverlake for a long time. We created just as many chances as Bromley right through the match.
Mcallum ( Hat Trick ) & Zebroski ( MoM for me ) where superb.

On the plus side, we were dynamite going forward Zebrowski had his best game in an Eastleigh shirt and put 100% in from first to last. McCallum also had a wonderful touch and was a great foil for CZ. Another plus the attitude of the team. Whatever anyone can say about these players they do care and are clearly playing their hearts out. On the negative, the defence was a shambles, no exaggeration to say Bromley could have scored 8. We seemed to lack coordination and you would not have known the defence had ever played together before.
As for entertainment. Top drawer. You are unlikely to see a more entertaining game all season. Bromley went 4-3 up with a few minutes left and admidst such huge entertainment, dozens of fans just left, cussing Richard Hill as they did so. When the equaliser went in, I would guess at least 20% had left the ground. None of them at least concerned to clap the entertainment we had witnessed. I did. I was clapping 22 players for putting their all into the game...and a huge element of me was clapping with relief we had salvaged a point.

Pros: A much better overall performance than last week. Hat-trick from Mccullum, well overdue his first league goal for us. Zebroski & Mccullum playing as a proper front two. 4 goals! Coming back from a goal down twice. Midfielder sub scored.
Cons: Giving a 2 goal lead away AGAIN . Conceding 4 goals. Why take a defender off for a midfielder? Loads of poor referee decisions, especially the yellow for Cav Miley. Mccullum's hat-trick deserved a standing ovation from the blue stand.
Reference comments on the other thread re 9 goal games, this might have been entertaining for the non-committed but I'd far rather have seen us do what West Ham did to Chelsea earlier, 1-0, with 3 points opposed to 1, plus a long overdue clean sheet. I'd have been devastated to lose that game 3-4 or 4-5, but a point is better than nothing.

My thoughts exactly.

Bromley didn't turn up for the first 20 minutes, by which time we were 2-0 up.
They certainly turned up after that - three of their goals were either down to poor defending, or good attacking, depending on your point of view.
Great to see Paul McCallum come good, and Sam Matthews' goal at the end was a cracker too.
Ref got the ball blasted against his head early on, he reffed like he had concussion for the rest of the match, poor game.
Draw a fair result in the end (not that helpful in the league table though), nice to see the team lasting the full 90 minutes.
And it was entertaining.

Zzzzz Michaels drum gets worn out again. The 4-4 was brilliant fun and exactly what the supporters and team needed after the last few months of Durge. I did ask my friend who I took if he’d have preferred a 0-0 or 4-4 for the point, you never guess what he said...

The point is any NEW fans will want to follow a team looking for promotion not fighting relegation so i will take 10 wins at 1 v 0 and 30 points instead of 10 draws at 2 v 2 and 10 points(especially when we throw away a 2 goal lead).

As ever missing the point. The preference is for 1-0 over 4-4.
4-4 was not exactly what the team or supporters needed. In case you hadn't noticed what we need is a victory. We are 5 points above the 4th bottom team who have a game in hand. We are desperately in need of a win, any win and soon.
