Thought I’d get this on the go!! Who do we want see come in? Players or position?
Young lad from Bognor is hitting the local headlines down here. Only 17 and playing week in week out the league below. Would be worth sending Paul Reid for a look. I tagged SD and RH in the article this afternoon so you never know. Rumours are though he’s got a trial at Sunderland. Why aren’t we finding players like this.
Also, why were we not at the V9 adadeny trials? Quite a lot of the players now playing in the football league, so why didn’t we go for the ones who didn’t quite make it? Ricky Barboa (think that’s his name) looked an awesome winger as is absolutely desperate to make it as a footballer, so why not give him a years contract and see how he gets on. I believe he’s at Worthing at the moment. Very pacey and skilful winger.

I'd want us to go for players similar to Jamie Vardy or Charlie Austin (but obviously no where near as good) who are mid career simply looking to play their hearts ouy and work their way up in their careers. Someone who fits that criteria not old players who are dropping down. Someone like Warren Bentley. I remember two or three years ago he was the top secret in the country with 50 odd for Winchester a few leagues below us, then moved onto Gosport I think, and how he's scored 10 for Poole this season, only one div below. I'd go for him personally I think he could really do well. Or anyone similar I would welcome. Having said all that, I have just realised that Ross Stearn fitted that criteria too! 😂😂

It is really strange that we are not signing the best young talent in the country.....
Surely it is very straightforward to see a very good young player sign him up get him in the first team and scoring goals....
If you can do it once then it can't be that difficult to do it 11 times and then you've got a full team and will win the league easy
Come on Eastleigh get your act together we need to get this done
P.s. can it be really entertaining as well?

Believe the window only applies for any players we sign from Football league clubs & non league players can be signed at any time

Come the Window every team will be looking to improve, so why would we think they would come to Eastleigh? The money, well as all the supporters seem only to happy to spend SD money and believe that Reda Johnson worth paying even though he maybe to tired to train. So let's get a grip SD trusts Richard Hill and why would he not. Yes he not everybody cup of tea but he will be loyal to the club. So when a player knows that the Spitfires wants him along with 3 other teams and says a club has offered more than give the foxtrot Oscar pill because he is not worthy of wearing the shirt.RH will find players that want to play. I note the 17yr old mentioned and he may do well but remember the step up that lad will take he will need a lot of time before he can play this league given the amount of league players that have come down for the money. There is no silver bullet here and there is a lot going on behind the scenes. Hill will find the players that won't it and not those who are here to take the money. SD has learned a hard lesson stepped back a little. Remember it's always easy to spend some one else's cash. In my opinion 1 yr contracts should be the norm and loans should be to players who want league football again and those young players good enough for a very tough league. No more lazy slackers here for easy money.

Of course it’s easy for fans to spend SDs money, if someone gave you a budget for a new car I bet dam well you’d go and spend as much as you could! Clearly this is why we had success under Ronnie Moore. He was given a budget and fair play to him for spending it. If SD think he can afford to give the budget then why not!!?
RH has told SD that his budgets are too much, but why? Yes he’s his mate but if the budget is there and available then why not spend it. The buzz around the club last season was immense, huge away support this time last year at Swindon and then at Brentford. What a buzz the club has had and this came off the back of a great manager and a great team who were here because we paid them well.
It’s a shame to see the team now heading in the wrong direction completely so I really hope RH spends some of the budget in Jan. A good experienced CB, centre mid, winger and striker. Age doesn’t matter, if your good enough your old enough!! It’s not always experi fe that wins games.

I think we should aim for winning without the ‘really entertaining’ or maybe we just accept what we’ve got and shoulder the blame as RH wants us to
