Is looking really good. If it wasn’t for what happened last month with the Chester game I don’t think people would think twice about it. Looking forward today’s game and hoping the storm has passed so we don’t all get soaking!

Today I was updated about the pitch and was given a lot of information. The club has put a substantial amount of work, and Have had several experts to have a look on solving the problem. The area that was a problem is now sorted. It appears that some problems were caused when new pitch laid and drainage pipes capped/covered. Advice is that the club would have to dig out the clay and replace with a soil structure that will drain water away. The centre of the pitch is ok but to do pitch properly it will all have to come up. This would be substantial investment. The FA are fully aware of the problems. It is clear that a lot of people had an opinion with little info but when frustration kicks in people tend to speak their minds. My post apparently 'threw a few people under a bus' I make no apology for this as sometimes things have to be said. We have all learned a few lessons, let's hope the club can give us as much info as it can about what is happening within the club. Well done to the club on getting to grips with the pitch. The ground staff and volunteers did a bloody good job and helped in the 3 points today.

Well, now we're getting some better communication from the club, perhaps they will....
Today was another example of this - very good info, both on the match, and whether it was going ahead or not.
And the pitch played pretty well considering the weather.
