No we have not signed him....good player at Dover, snapped up by Lincoln to achieve promotion which was successful, today signed for Norwich City though loaned back until January....and we have a good scouting network??? Realise that cost money, but agents phoning up is not a network. If we mean business as the big boys that has to change.

We only sold 3 players last season into the league - one into the Championship, one into League One and one into League 2 respectively. We also turned down league offers for two others players who stayed. So 5 of our squad last year could have moved upwards.
I think we do more scouting in our network than ever and have invested in the largest ever management team the club has seen.
Sean Raggett played against Danny Cowley a few times so he had seen him in matches. Mandron, Partington and Coulson never played against us but we still signed them and sold them. Not sure we are that far behind. We also tried to sign the Lincoln midfielder signed from Nuneaton but he chose them so I think we are not as bad as you may think hopefully.

Like Raggatt a lot - seen him a few times - would have been a great acquisition

I'm sure we would have signed him if we had kept MA.

The player has to come as much as we want a player, we may have tried to sign lots of players that didn't sign for personal reasons, we just aren't told about them as that would create a negative public perception.

Who cares about people we didn't sign. Far more interested in the ones we did!

Stuart, with the squad that RH has put together will be better than most, confidence is a major factor in any sport. We've also got a tough start to the season but what goes round comes round,we're be fine 💙🙏

Far from knocking things about EFC I want us to be the biggest and best out there, I'm greedy we want 46 wins....that's impossible but you can dream can't you. I remember the first time I ever met Stewart, it was in the bar at Salisbury FC when we played them one Tuesday evening, with a twinkle in his eye he said "When I'm 50 we'll be in the Premier League" I asked how many years did that give us then and he replied, "Ten". That was his dream, but it made me realise how far he could take this club and though we are behind progress I still think he will at least achieve to Championship level. RH told me he is still sorting out the problems behind the scenes, he's getting things back on a firm footing, then we'll begin to move upwards, I'm convinced of that...but I am very impatient!!!!

Doubt we will get 46 wins this season, not in the league anyway!

Raggett looked good for Dover when I saw him, heard good reports too.
For whatever reason we didn't sign him from Dover, Lincoln did, maybe they had more to offer, bigger club, more potential, and I'm sure Danny Cowley sold the club very well. He played a big part in their FA Cup run and League win, scoring some vital (and televised) goals too.
If he was going to leave Lincoln the only way was up - Norwich is certainly a step up, although they have sensibly agreed to loan him back to Lincoln to make the transition easier.
The first post seems to imply that we might have made a move for him recently - we would never have had a chance at this stage. Only when he was at Dover might it have been possible.

Well we've got an exceptional loan player in Callum Howe who Lincoln have sent out on loan partly due to signing Raggett
