The joke is that some fans actually do believe that chairmen and managers really do listen to them. They don't. We're just noughts on a balance sheet.

Good history with EFC, has done OK this time around (just ) with players he inherited. We used to play entertaining, positive and far more successful football under his management though, I admit, we looked a bit tired and running out of ideas towards the end of his last term.
I can see a new team next season with only a few of today's squad still with us and an effort to re-sign Jai Reason and Ross Flitney.

I doubt we will start with more than 3, if that, of the current squad. There is no way in a million years we will be signing JR, RF is a good shout, but I can't see that happening either. I think the quality of players we bring in over the summer, will be top Dollar. (ie expensive and GOOD).

Weren't the players we brought in throughout this season allegedly top dollar, expensive and good?!? Summer here always seems to be interesting, looking at who is out of contract etc

Richard Hill won the conf south with us! He then got us into the playoffs in 4th place in our first season. The budget was smaller then. I believe with the right players he will do well

No suprised in this news, it seemed inevitable hill would be the new man.
What's come from left field (for me at least) is hessenthaler. He could quite easily be managing in the conference rather than a number 2. Was recently at Leyton orient (before it all went bad!) and seemed to do reasonably there.
A dream team for next season?! Who knows, I think they deserve our support as any new manager coming in to the club does. Will be a busy summer of course

Will be a busy summer of course Of course they deserve our support, Tenacres and not the negativity some doom mongers are already throwing out. Give 'em a chance to build a team over the summer & let's see how it goes next season. There's a lot of pressure on them to get the new team performing well from SD. They don't need any more from us.
