When we lost 4-0 at their place this season the team didn't turn up....we supporters did........and that was when we were able to put out a decent side!!!!!!! Barrow are just about hanging on now for a play off spot, 5 points adrift though with one game in hand (They play it tomorrow night at home v Tranmere) should they lose that game, Barrow will come to us as a side under pressure in a must win game for them when one would expect the two immediately ahead of them to win their away games, Gateshead at Wrexham, and Aldershot at Guiseley. So lets make it nervy for them, BIG BIG SUPPORT from the shed, lift our players and give them the confidence to get at them. I didn't think Barrow were a particularly good team when we played them up there, we made them look good with a shocking performance. They aren't too clever on the road, 5 wins from 17 played, we have a week to prepare, we'll be fresher than them and RH has got to fire them up in that dressing room prior to kick off.
"We are Eastleigh, we're better than them, go across that white line and prove it, and don't dare come off unless you give everything you've got, every last drop of sweat, if you do that you'll come back across that white line with three precious points"

I disagree about the team not turning up. Until the sending off we were more than matching them, but the red card & PK changed the game, we had to push forward and left gaps at the back.

They couldn't beat Sutton at home Saturday, that result doesn't reflect their league position. Got a funny feeling we'll win.

"Got a funny feeling we'll win" If we keep saying the same every game it's going to happen one day.

I don't think we'll win easily. We might slog out a result in the dieing minutes but I can't see us strolling through comfortably. Narrow win or a loss is my prediction.

Sorry Mark, I know you watched it over the pond in little old US of A on live television but we weren't at the races. If I recall correctly we had one shot on goal in the first half and that was it. We lumped it long all day and their defenders headed them all away comfortably, we never got round the back of them and I think we had 3 corners the entire match. One of our most vocal fans vented his frustration in the second half by shouting that the team should go home in the supporters coach and the fans have their luxury one for having to watch that rubbish. As I say, we made Barrow look good that day and even RM said the performance was way below the standard he expected from the team.
I believe we're going to win on Saturday I really do, this is what we need now belief. RH says the players are suffering from a lack of confidence, it happens when a team is struggling like it is, but get them thinking in a positive manner, We are going to win today, we fight for every ball and we go at them, we close down their space, we rattle and niggle them, we get round them and we pound their goal with balls. The best way to defend is to keep the ball in their half, even if 2-0 up do not attempt to sit on it, keep the ball up there as they will be pushing forward themselves, we use the space they leave open. Simple really but it comes down to belief and getting back the confidence.....it begins on Saturday.

I would imagine we will lose 2-0 as a win will probably put Barrow in a Play Off position.

draw has to be a scoring draw - we need to stop leaking first, so I don't see a 0-0 on the cards

I find it extremely frustrating that we cannot find a striker, yet one day after Lincoln signed Lee Angol on loan from Peterborough he scores a hat trick for them when they won 4-0 on Tuesday night. OK he played in a pretty good team compared to ours at the moment, but just how are we missing these players. Rumour has it that Danny Cowley asked his Mother to name a couple of strikers and he was one of those she choose....she is a massive football nut by all accounts. Our scouting network cannot be right can it? Word was the departed Matt Lewson found players on his laptop...that's not scouting, that laziness for not checking them out properly.
