I still see and hear people (who presumably have escaped from the local asylum ) claim we're building for next season and expect to be challenging for the title. On what basis is this being made? Will never ever be better than half a dozen teams in this league. Tonight was utterly pathetic -players who don't know each other's names. Couldn't describe to anyone how bad this set up is at the moment.

Are you sure they are talking about this league?

The good news is that next season doesn't start for 6 months, that is a long, long time. Ages. A great many things will happen at Eastleigh FC before then.
The bad news is this season is still going & we still need some more points. Also that we are playing Tranmere on Saturday.

At this moment in time I think next season will be wasted as well with this manager have not seen anything to say he improved the team it has got a lot worse. He will leave here within in the year and the reason will be because of his health problems just one last pay packet! To nearly quit football because of a heart problem and yo come to a more stressful job imo just seems a bit strange!

We should be looking at the remainder of this season thinking next will be great. What have we got to go on?!? everything so far from MA has been very depressing, signings style of play, and most imporatnyl results.
Recently we have played 3 potentially (on our current form) relegation rivals and picked up only 2 points from 9. Yet some think we will win the league.
MA has had nearly 3 months to show what he can do.........

Champions next season, Why not? But most probably champions of the Conference South is more realistic! There is always hope though......
