I came away disappointed - not perhaps as low as some, but just plain disappointed in a lack of progress. Agree with many comments above the bright spots were McLeod, Cole and Odoffin. The player we should have been raving about this morning was Sam Muggleton who looks as if he could get a throw into the box from the other side of the M27 but what's the point if there's not a tall brick out-building of a forward to use the ball when it gets there. 6 times he turned a throw-in into a corner only to see it headed away by a well organised Braintree defence because of our lack of a target man who can't be intimidated by defenders. I agree with westendspitfire, our team looks physically like a puff of wind would blow them away. Maybe we should sign John Parkin???

Did it make you choke on your cornflakes this morning Shirley? That's known as a very good wake up call :-)

trouble is, if we keep playing / reverting to longball / hoofball ( and now long throw ) we need a big ugly lump like Brodie or Parkin to bully and beat opposition defenders to the ball and hold it up for the likes of Wilson to feed off

Does it make sense to play long ball/ hoof ball/ long throw? You can possibly get away with it when you winning, but would the fans want it when we are being turned over every week. Please, please, let us see a plan on Saturday. Surely it can't be as bad as Tuesday?

Long throw's can be a deadly weapon, but who really wants their team to be doing it? Not great football is it? If we are gonna do it then we may as well do it properly and get one of the aforementioned lumps on the end of it?

Cant defend at the back, cant defend in the middle and haven't got a striker. Doesn't bode well. Goodnight. Actually, to be fair, maybe your version of my gripe was more succinct.
