We need to stick together and support the manager and his desicions. It's not going to be a pretty time at the moment with players coming and going. Playoffs will be very hard to get this season with a possibility of a slight chance. Martin Allen has come in at a difficult time and he has taken on 2 other managers players. He is definitely looking to build for next season and I believe in the manager. He has got rid of the old and in with the new. Jai reason had to go! He has been a great servant for the club but hasn't really performed the last 2 seasons. When given the chance in his preferred centre midfield role he hasn't performed. We as fans should stick by him and I believe he is the man to get us promoted definitely next season. Out with the under performing old players!!! believe....

Play offs? your're having a laugh!. This season has been a shambles and it's about starting again next year. At the moment the jury is out on Martin Allen, I have seen nothing to inspire me in terms of his signings or style of football yet. But to be fair lets see what happens in the summer.

But to be fair lets see what happens in the summer. we have a tiny chance of the playoffs. Definitely working for next season. It's going to be hard for him. Forest green at home we was excellent. He then gave others a chance at home to Woking who simply hasn't performed. With Reda and cresswell coming back we will be a rock and then other players will come in. Believe for next season.

Play offs have gone. forget them, that is why all the changes are happening now. Stick by the manager by all means. Out with the old? Only to be replace by Stack, Strevens and Henderson, hardly the new. I like the last few signings young players, hopefully up for the challenge and with potential. On the whole I think we have done well with the players that have moved on. They really were goods players that deserved to be at a higher level. Bonz was a mystery and remains so. Agree Reason has been off form for the last couple of seasons and needed a move. My fear is that players like Green will be bombed out for no money after having an excellent season.

The younger new signings look very exciting and good players. We brought stack in for the injured Clarke! So it will be good competition. Stack played well at home to Woking. Henderson needs the right man to work with him. A quicker younger forward. I can't see strevens playing much game time. Greener was consistent the first few months and was very good under Ronnie Moore. Unfortunately greener had a shocking game away at southport and away at Halifax. Our new young signing looks a very good left back. Build for next season. Yes out with the old and new faces will be arriving pre season.

I am still keeping the faith, though it is getting a bit of a strained
I agree with the comments about Jai. Brilliant at times but, for the last season or so, lacked consistency. I have always believed that a team needs a player that can do the unexpected, can change a game with a twist, a turn, a pass, an effort on goal. Jai could do that and he will be missed.
I can see that a complete new outlook is required, we have had quite a few very good players but it is quite a while since I have seen a good TEAM.
Play offs this season or not, all I will be looking for, for now, is a football TEAM. If that leads to a late surge on the Play offs then all the better.

In December he played twice both away games. Shocking at southport away and not so good at Halifax away. In January he played 1.5 games! And wasn't great in those games. So I certainly don't know who does the voting on players. ?? He hasn't even played.

It's interesting reading the comments and I agree with most but I would like to point out I think MA is getting this club moving in the right direction and it's not just on the pitch which I know is the most important part. I've noticed he likes to keep fans updated with players progress on YouTube, players active in to community and players training with the youth setup. That's all positive for the club.

"I've noticed he likes to keep fans updated with players progress on YouTube, players active in to community and players training with the youth setup. That's all positive for the club." That all very well for the modern social media user but what about us silver surfers or even non-social media users. I accept that the modern world revolves around Twitter, facebook and the like but not everybody is on board with this. I would of thought that the seemingly lacking official club website was the place for communications like this.

Seriously still talking about play offs? We haven't won this year and have just sold our 3 best players. One target only for this season survive without getting dragged into a relegation battle. Then build in the summer. Happy to beleive in MA but not expecting much in return until August.

Talk of the play offs is nonsense. The aim for this season is to win a game at home!

There's no reason why we can't make the playoffs. Yes it would mean something out of the ordinary happening but never rule it out. Remember when we were 11 points off the pace in th conference south and then we won the league! So don't say it can't happen. I'm not holding my breath but I imagine the club aren't aiming to not win every game.
The re-building job is going on at the moment, in fact the whole club is being rebuild literally at the moment. Lots going on in the team, players returning from injury, new players arriving etc. All to play for, and why not. We've done it before. The team looks brilliant once players are fit, a solid back line and 2 good keepers to choose from. The forward line and midfield does need some work but with MA I totally believe he'll make these players a unit and an absolute team for the end of the season.
Next year we will be a formidable team to play against. With 3-4 "coulson or Mandron type players" to come in and 3-4 "well known professionals" arriving I think the mix of youth, experience, pace, strength and adaptability we'll have a team worthy of at least league 2. Issue is every club in the division will raise their game when they play us, but no team every got promoted without hard graft.
Martin Allen is the man, he's had a hard couple of months and the team looks almost completely different to when he came in. So let him bed this team of individuals into an actually team and if not this year then next year will be our year.
Keep the faith spitfires!
