Decent effort and game tonight which I enjoyed. A point does nothing for the very slim hopes of a play off place. However, reading the Chairman's programme notes I think there is a concession that this year has been a cock up- sorry 'season of transition' and that we are building for next year. Henderson as I suspected doesn't offer much of a threat at goal other than to hold the ball up well. Another waste of money in my view. This was though an improved performance.

Yup agree with most of that.
Could have won, could have lost. Draw about right.

I thought the lads played well tonight, we had 2 or 3 near misses. Their goal came from another bad bit of refereeing caught our lads on the back foot and scored. The referee tonight was a disgrace! Well done lads - a good performance from where I was sat!!

Thought that was the best TEAM performance we have displayed for sometime. They all worked hard and put in 100% effort. This is the turning point

Music was a three-song loop requested by MA, apparently.
Decent performance tonight against good opposition. A draw probably not great for either side, but absolutely the correct result.
Stack and the defence played quite well, apart from everybody watching when the opening goal being scored, everybody worked hard, Mandron looked dangerous, as he did on Saturday. Was impressed with Garrett and Odoffin again. Have we got any chance of signing them permanently?
I was surprised to see Ayo claim our goal, it looked a clear own goal, would need to see a replay.

What's going on with the music? sirens were probably commemorating WWII bombing raids over the south coast on 10 Jan - if my sums are right, 76 years ago - left lots of Pompey on fire.....

By far the best league performance I have seen by us this year Everyone put in a good shift, and our delivery from set pieces was exceptional. Forest Green were excellent with the ball, and if they don't win the league, that is an indication of how strong the league is. We may well be building for next season, if so lets continue the build with victory at Sutton. I think our aim now must be to go unbeaten for the rest of the season. Difficult I know but that needs to be the aim.

I hope they don't let MA choose the music for the Macc game, as it's a free one Stewart will be wanting to snag some new punters not send them scurrying into the air raid shelters. Having said that I think the sirens could work if someone put together a whole package with a bit of thought, we should definitely come out to Aces High and chuck in the speech as well as the sirens if we are going down this route.

According to the Echo:
'Martin’s Allen pre-match playlist did not have the desired effect as Eastleigh were held at home by Forest Green Rovers.
Determined to inject a more vibrant pre-match atmosphere at the Silverlake Stadium, DJ Mad Dog insisted on a three-track Nineties theme as 1998 World Cup anthem Vindaloo, Prince’s Party Like It’s 99 and Baddiel and Skinner’s Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home) were belted out on a continuous loop over the PA System'.
Was the Macc game on 24th Jan announced as a free-for-all game? I didn't hear anything saying that but one of two other people mentioned it. I only heard him mention Woking.

The announcer forget about the game completely, and then apologised and mentioned it just as I was walking through the car park.
