The Halifax supporters' bus broke down at Watford Gap yesterday evening and they were stranded there until a replacement arrived after 11pm. Finally got to the Shay around 2am. One tweet suggested that they had already organised a draw to determine who they would eat first.

Tired, but Happy.. and even more so providing it's not Watford ( gap) away in the 3rd rd. Should we get lucky again. Enjoy the rematch up at the Shay.

That's not good - especially with it being a long journey anyway but glad you got home safe and sound. Your team played really well; especially your number 9, and you certainly deserved the draw! Credit too to your fans - fantastic support and it sounded like you had far more than 250 there! Looking forward to the replay :-)

Yes, the main thing is you all got back home safely...but I have to ask, What were you doing in the Watford Gap area?? I'm no driver but surely up to Oxford then Northampton to get on the M1 is the way to go?

OK so I am going to be the one that says it. Thing is SoE, Watford Gap Services are famous for not being anywhere near Watford. The location is on the M! in Northamptonshire. Sorry to be the smart a**e that points it out but there you go.

Watford gap is near Watford village in Northants, so it is nr Watford. It's just got nothing to do with the other Watford.
