I'm away for NY, but this is rubbish in my eyes, why keep playing around with the Xmas and NY fixtures. Traditions should be upheld.

Is this all 'thanks' to televised games? Matches have been played on Boxing Day and New Year's Day for as long as I can remember. Big shame for those unable to attend on the rearranged dates.

One thing perhaps worth noting is that if the original fixture had gone ahead we would have had three Saturday's in December without a game. Playing on Saturday rather than Sunday used to be a soccer tradition.
