Starts at 19.30 and ends at 22.00
So 25 minutes pre match and 10-15 minutes post match.

No mention of the Eastleigh game on South Today's half hour evening show yesterday due to the game at St Mary's - OK, I understand given the importance of last night's game to Saints, but not even a 20 second mention was disappointing. Not much better in the Echo which squeezed in a tiny piece about our FA Cup game alongside 3 pages on the Milan game.
I didn't expect wall to wall coverage but to get nothing/so little certainly showed what the local media thinks of EFC,

Hardly buzzing on this forum either.
I'll go for a crowd of 2616 with the TV killing off any possible sell out, Friday night freezing cold and raining.

No rain forecast for this evening, Callum, but it will be cold. 10 second announcement about the game on BBC news at 13.40, we could have Tony Husband at the ground this evening doing the sport roundup, but all that will do is encourage people to watch on TV. Anyone thinking about coming to the game will have already made the decision, even if they still have to get a ticket. Locals watching the game on TV is the next best thing, if we impress it could encourage a few to come to a game in the future. Positives all round.
I'll guess 3210

Here's hoping that whatever the attendance those that are there make some noise right from the start. The away team's support often have the advantage with the fantastic acoustics in the Motorway end so all the more reason to up the volume!! C'mon you Spitfires!!

About 4000. Mental that anyone local would choose to watch it on tv rather than get down there.

I sometimes think that the word "shock" is used to over dramatise an event. Personally I would be somewhat shocked if we didn't force a win in a one off game with home advantage against a side with their eyes more firmly fixed on League One survival. The last real shock I recall was when Hereford beat Newcastle a few decades ago. I just hope we get a really big name in the next round.
