sack Gary Brabin. 3rd manager in this league to lose his job tha season.
After 5 wins they have just 5 points from the last 6 games - currently are in 5th.

Not trying to stir things in anyway, but would anyone be miffed with RM if he were to take the vacant role?

Not sure miffed would cover it, has to be a possibility given he has spent well over 20 years there as a player and manager. Hopefully given the way he left last time they will not consider it, but if I was them looking at our form since he arrived he would certainly be on the list. Fingers crossed he is enjoying the sunny south coast!

I'd be very surprised. RM has fallen in love with EFC and speaks highly of SD, he's got a chairman who will back him 100% and you don't find many like that in this game. Yes he has affection for Tranmere and 20 years is a big chunk of his life, but he's been Manager twice I believe and the second time wasn't a nice ending so a third time? Big NO NO you should never go back is the old saying and having done it once and got burnt shall we say, he knows where he is better off, and appreciated.

Is this the first time a manager has been sacked whilst being the current holder of the "Manager in the Month" award?
As for RM going to Tranmere - I think when you have a long association with a club and have a deep love for it, you will probably naturally think about the position and I think the question becomes what if they approached us about him? I can't see SD granting permission for TRFC to approach, so it would be a no go, but just like players in this game, If managers end up wanting to go to another club, it usually happens. When all said and done, Ronnie was out of work and going nowhere until we plucked him from managerial obscurity, yet just 4 weeks later he can possibly be a man that some bigger clubs would consider. I think that says alot about where we are heading as a football club. I've given him a bit of a hard time since he joined, im like that with everyone, but I hope he stays, because I am enjoying the way we are playing under him and I can see what he is trying to do. I would say there is no more than a 20% chance he'll leave us for the Tranmere job, but if they approach, that percentage shoots up, they could even approach him to de-stabilise our season...

Listening to the the Tranmere boss in his interview he was having a gripe over the board needing to spend more money to get a bigger squad it's to small they went down to 10 men because of injures so looks like Tranmere don't have the funds to buy more players there squad are to small so why would RM want to go when he has the resources at EFC

Always 2 sides to any story. Results go down + Brabin complains about size of squad = sacking. Mind you even when they had a good start to the season their fans were still not happy with Brabin as manager. Mark Palios probably already has someone in mind, but if they won't spend on a bigger squad, why would they spend on prising RM away from us? And would he want to go anyway. Previous comments by others apply.

Although Tranmere started well, i wasn't that impressed with them when they beat us with the injury winner at their place. We were poor that day and i thought Tranmere were probably a side who will finish about 8th-10th on that performance, they were pretty average tbh. Even at that game, where they were unbeaten at the time i think, their fans were not happy with the style of football they were serving up, so i think as soon as they hit a bad patch, the manager was always going to come under huge pressure. That's what happens at the bigger clubs. The Wrexham boss is also under pressure, as will be the FGR and our own manager if we were to lose 4 on the bounce.

This is what I meant by us not being tested, very early on with my comments about RM, Tranmere were poor when we played them and got a lucky last second break against us. For me RM has proved himself with the results he's got in the last 4 days.
