Jill and I were absent from the Southport game last weekend - on our annual baseball trip. We had tickets for games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between our team, the Boston Red Sox and the Blue Jays in Toronto. Given that the 2 clubs were first and second in the AL East, all 3 games were sell outs with almost 48,000 present at each game. That is a lot of money!
If an average Eastleigh crowd is around 1/25th of that then our 50-50 draw could be £2,000-£3,000! Mind you I was about 3000 out with my ticket on Saturday so maybe we do sell a few thousand 50-50 tickets :0)
