Apologies if I appear to be stepping on the clubs toes but on the official website of EFC in the News section Archives for Feb 2016 there is an appeal for Easter Eggs and donations for the club to take on their visit to The Children's Wards at The General by the Manager, Players and Officials on March 29th. Tesco's in Eastleigh have also got involved with this and they have a trolley in the shop (Swan Centre) for Eggs to be placed as donations. I think this is a wonderful community effort and shows our club in superb light that we can brighten up the kids over the Easter period who are unwell in hospital. The closing date to donate is Good Friday at the ground, or at Tesco's.

Good call, SOE. Exactly the right time to bring this to our attention again.

Saturday's Echo Page 21 (April 2nd) is a follow up about the eggs with EFC Manager and Players going along to the Eastleigh Tesco Store at the Swan Centre to collect eggs donated by their staff and customers for the Children's Ward at The General Hospital, which are to be delivered tomorrow. Rob, the Tesco Store Manager informed me they handed over 120 Easter eggs which is fantastic. No doubt many smiling children tomorrow and hopefully new fans for the future. This sort of partnership between a major shopping outlet and our club is fantastic PR and the Eastleigh public responded. Well done to all.

I started a thread a couple of months back saying how much stuff the club had started to do within the community, this has accelerated even since then, some fantastic stuff going on.
But I still only see most of it thru Twitter and even then not from the official Twitter, come on Eastleigh FC be proud of yourselves!
