Got to be some terracing in there. Better atmosphere without a shadow of doubt. Also, agree with previous comments about the fact that if we were to get to the Championship and needed to add seats this would be years away so I'm sure we'd be looking to increase from a 9000 capacity ground anyway. Think about NOW. We are non-league. Potentially league 2 over the next couple of years. Terracing is absolutely fine.

Burton Albion will be in the Championship next season with 3 sides of terracing.

Think Burton have 3 years to make it all seated. Yeovil went up to the Championship With standing on both ends but only lasted one season in that league. If Burton go up, they'll have a while to decide what their ambitions are before deciding whether to build larger stands & install seating. Both clubs mentioned are proof of what small clubs can achieve. Yes, & I know where Yeovil are now, but it's beginning to look like they will stay in League 2.

Councils have a history of saying things, then back tracking somewhat, but our council seems to be keen to work with the club in moving forward. You only have to look at the councils at Braintree and Basingstoke who have constantly knocked back new stadium plans, I think Braintree's new stadia has dragged on now for 6 years, while Basingstoke have been talking 15 years and have now threatened to do a Wimbledon and move the club elsewhere. We're fine in that we aren't looking for a new site, though I heard the council have issues about how high the stadium will be!!!!! Whether that has something to do with the airport I don't know but we aren't in their flight path for landings and take offs, in any case how high is that multi storey car park at Parkway Station which the council approved of, and our ground is quite a way from that. We're all waiting for exciting news that's for sure.

Plans are finished we are discussing with the council what they think before we submit them. We are talking with them today so won't be long now.
