I agree we are leaving it alittle late. We started off pretty quickly getting 4 in and then it just stopped.its important they get in for preseason so they can gel and work on the way davis wants to play.i can see the triallist family helping out on Saturday tbh or else they'll be playing too many minutes too quickly and in 30 degree heat.

I see that on the prediction thread they referred to one sentence of a post I had made which was only part of a post I wrote. I think that my post on the Kieron Evans is much more relevant about the current season, but I do not think they would have highlighted this even if they had seen it. As it happens I think our prospects for the season will be influenced by things I currently do not know much about.

If we lose Shade, as is rumoured, we could be somewhat in the ****, even though I think you have to play to his strengths, not always done at the Silverlake.

He’s going to be tough to replace so close to the start of the new season, but you can’t stand in his way when he’s going to be playing in League One. I would have been more upset if he’d signed for another National League side like York City. At least it’s a record transfer fee and perhaps we can exploit his success to attract ambitious players who will be keen to follow in his footsteps.

I would’ve been pissed if he’d made a sideward move to another National League club, but am delighted for him that he is being given the chance to play at a higher level. I just hope we can bring in a decent replacement & don’t piss the money away on more defensive midfielders! |
