I also have thought long and hard whether to renew or not but , i think my addiction has been cured . I used to really enjoy going and have done for many years now . This season however something has changed . I really dont know what it is but, its not the same anymore . What i do know is the football has been a complete bore . The age rise for concessions , after being a season ticket holder for 10 years, was the final straw for me . I for one will not be renewing my ticket . I’m really sorry to hear this, although I know exactly what you mean. Something has definitely changed this season, whether it’s the manager’s tactics, losing the dynamism of Kenny, or something else. I am hoping that next season will be much better, but if there is no improvement, I will be in the same position agonising whether to continue. Would you renew if Stewart returned?

I am going to renew but reluctantly. The renewal has been handled extremely poorly, it's not the cost in particular we all know that without the extra overhead provided by SD it would have to rise. What is disappointing is not being able to move around the ground - this could have been handled with if we go up it will be necessary, if not then next season stays the same. I'm not convinced the South Stand will be ready in time gong on the level of activity over the whole season. I know this has really p1ssed a lot of people off. The sudden hike from 60 being a concession to 64+ is also a hit for potential fans.
Sherwoods massive rise in entry is also massively off putting £20 for food option, what are you getting for food then? Then £10 to enter for non-food, not many people want a £14 pint to start off. This really hasn't been thought out and there's no way i'd pay £10 to go in to watch tv!
By all accounts hospitality has risen too with a few of my friends who use it regularly saying they won't bother as it's now too crowded, the cost has risen and the offering is also less!
I'm not sure who put all of this together but it's definitely added to the feel bad factor coupled with the uninspiring fayre on the pitch. We definitely need someone with some customer facing nous on board at EFC!

I've never understood the club charging its own fans to go into the Sherwood bar, its ridiculous, but if its now going to be a tenner, i agree with Doug, that not many will take this up, so they will lose massively on food and drink sales in there next season. I get the price hike for general ST's, but that aside, everything else seems to have been badly thought out. I would have thought the idea is to get as many fans into the game as possible, not cause financial issues to a loyal fanbase in these hard times, which is seemingly making it easy for fans to just walk away and not bother at all. I guess the proof will come with how many take up these options, but its a strange one for me. I haven't been to any games this season and having been made redundant in Oct and still not working, i'm not in a position to start coming regularly again anyway, but making it financially stretching to certain age groups and people close to the breadline, will only mean lower attendances and therefore lower secondary spends when attending games next season.

The update from EFC on season tickets seems to fly in the face of popular opinion and people I've spoken to.
Really, you pay more for a ST and you want to pay an inflated Sherwoods access on top - marketing will push anything!
Tell us the actual numbers EFC and then we can make our mind up!

I recently spoke to a couple of people high up at eastleigh and was consistently told the club is losing money and that is why everything is going up, the increases for me are way above what I call fair for most people. Having to pay £10 per game just to get a decent pint in a glass and chat to friends is my biggest issue having used the bar since it was built. As I said previously I regularly brought 6 - 15 friends along for the day and we had a good laugh even though the footy was poor ( and by the way none of us even come from eastleigh). Its obvious to me that sherwoods is now heading down the hospitality way for people that like a company pxxs up and don't care about results outside. Meanwhile the real fans get shoved in the tatty old hangar, no seats, rank toilets, no heating ,plastic glasses etc. For this reason we have decided to give next season a miss and see what happens when the dream of league football and 5000 home fans dwindles away. I look forward to seeing the real attendances next year and whether they are " making money" . Until then I wish the club good luck in its future.

In what other line of life would have all the negative stuff written about something you'll renew again for 😂 Football loyalty is crazy I'm really sorry to hear about long term and short term fans not renewing next season, you should not be put in this position. Anyone with more than half a brain cell thay I've got , able to work out how much our ST sales collectively contribute to the club/ budget and the new additional pricing would contribute. To me it doesn't seem all that worthwhile for the club to be getting so much negativity from. What I would say is I have long said our ST prices were too cheap, wrong place wrong time for them to go up plus the lack of movement snowballs it. If we had come up from National South this year and been handed these ST prices we'd all be jumping for joy, had it too good for too long.

IMO Part of the reason for the cheap season tickets is a legacy from when they were slashed to £99 a decade ago. When you have ultra cheap STs like that you can’t just double or treble the price the next year, it’s unwise to put them up by more than 10-15% and invariably sometimes it will make sense to freeze prices so when you do really cheap STs you are in it for a few years I think. That said I fully support it and it’s one of the reasons why our fan base has grown so much.
So no issue with the rise of the standard price from 175 to 199, but as some have said I do think we have got a few other things a bit wrong with the STs.

I do agree that the season tickets are cheap compared with other clubs, but for a lot of people that is I expect the reason they became season tickets holders in the first place/
For some people the style of football is an issue, but that is not an issue for me. Whatever happens in the next two weeks we will finish in the top half of the table and I think we have scored some good goals this season and apart from the fact that I also enjoying good defensive play I think that seeing players such as Oscar Rutherford and Vinnie Harper running at defenders.
I do not personally think that the football this season has been less enjoyable than in the Martin Allen era or in the latter part of last season when we picked up 15 points from the last 24 league games (3 from the 10 immediately prior to Lee Bradbury's appointment.
However I do also think that for me and many others some other things that form part of the matchday experience have become less enjoyable this season and I think the season tickets have been handled is a reflection of this. Previously a lot of people working behind the scenes would be well known, personable and friendly people, but every time I come I seem to see new people employed by the club who know very little about it.

I still can't get my head around this non migration 'in preparation for the football league' garbage. I really feel this ridiculous error should be put on the back burner immediately.

Yeah, crazy thing to announce. Also won’t happen. Would be way too complicated to make happen for no benefit to the club or the fans. People are best to just ignore it.
Does make you wonder who’s idea it was & why?

Does make you wonder who’s idea it was & why? My fault. I didn't research it properly. I note they've altered the pricing for different areas of the ground that's why.
