Think the club have made a mistake in not keeping the juniors free (under 11s). Could mean a parent, guardian, etc with two kids paying a extra £200!

Massively, personal belief anyone up to 21 should be free. I've lived those days of watching a team avidly with very little wages. Those are often our most noisiest fans and they will stay long term if treated right at the start, parents aren't going to bring kids if they have to pay for them. Also they are probably the ones who buy the most merchandise and food/drink? Seems an odd decision,I'm sure its been calculated

Speaking of youngsters...the club could raise more revenue if they insisted on scanning a physical season ticket, instead of the s.t QR code on a mobile device.

The club should have Grandfathered (no pun intended) in anyone who is aged between 60 -64 and had a discounted season ticket last season.

I was wondering whether the suggestion was that the season ticket could also be used as some kind of credit card, but I am only guessing.

Chesterfield Early bird renewals start at 336 and reach 400. Anyone else seen other prices?

Chesterfield Early bird renewals start at 336 and reach 400. Anyone else seen other prices? Just happened over the weekend to spot EFL club Bolton Wanderers promoting their 23/24 season tickets. For a good seat above the halfway line it's £309 with over 65's being £199 and over 75's £159. And I bet those hotpot pies are cheap too. A bit too far to drive sadly.

I have pondered, long and hard about whether to renew or not, as I have not been enjoying the football lately. Even though there are no guarantees that the football will improve, or that Stewart will return, with all his passion, i have relented and renewed our season tickets today. As a dear friend of mine (who use to spend a fortune sponsoring games at Chelsea) said:- “THEY ARE NOT SELLING FOOTBALL, THEY’RE SELLING A DRUG!” Long may I stay addicted.

I'm sure there are plenty of people in your situation. I know I would be 2nd guessing myself about renewing if I was back there. On one hand I'd be thinking I'd wait to see if Bradbury was still there next season as I am not sure I'd want to watch that borefest every week again. But on the other hand, like you said, it is a drug, and I'm sure at the end of the day I'd renew. As for the cost, even the new prices are still cheaper than most, if not all the national League teams and several teams in lower divisions as well, so cost per game is still excellent value, even if the entertainment value isn't as high.

I also have thought long and hard whether to renew or not but , i think my addiction has been cured . I used to really enjoy going and have done for many years now . This season however something has changed . I really dont know what it is but, its not the same anymore . What i do know is the football has been a complete bore . The age rise for concessions , after being a season ticket holder for 10 years, was the final straw for me . I for one will not be renewing my ticket .
