Details in the link below, early bird until end April. Couldn't see what the discounts were for early bird (nothing in FAQs either) - maybe there aren't any? www.eastleighfc.com/news-2023-24-season-tickets-are-on-sale-now/Prices up, no moving around ground (preparation for 'progress up the leagues') . Concessions now 64+. West (Blue) Stand makes a distinction between 'seating' and 'padded seating'. The South (Green) Stand will apparently be ready for the start of next season, selling season tickets for this now too. Car parking now £95, you need to phone. This will all be a bit of a test of loyalty (and wallet, for some), IMO.

No mention of reserving your seat, price to get in Sherwoods has gone up by £2 per game as well. My cost if I renew will have nearly doubled!

Would like to know how your read that part as I'm confused by that too. £20 for season access without food but £10 per game if you buy on the day? I might have read that wrong. The lack of migration around the ground will put people off, don't understand that one, I know people who sit in the main stand first half then swap at half time for the terrace

Absolutely gobsmacked on hearing this rumour at the ground today. That's a hell of a rise in cost for parking, tickets, food, drink ,sherwoods entry etc etc . As a family of 5 who regularly bring friends and family to games plus away games I shall not be renewing any season tickets and will cut ties with Eastleigh fc . Absolute scandalous decisions, no respect for loyalty. Couple of quid here and there no problem. 1600 seater south stand for what? Plenty of room most games without a stand as it is , someone's dreaming a dream at Eastleigh. Maybe Hollywood's arriving next season. Sad decisions, look forward to the attendances next year. Some lovely people working at the club who will bear the flack . Prawn sandwiches win again.

The owners have absolutely no money to invest and a limited understanding of how to run a club. The PR and communication needs a lot of work. The waste of time and money spent on the 'non spitfire' badge being the highlight of their amateur efforts. If the club go up these prices will make sense but if we stay in the national league then eventually fans will vote with their feet.

1600 seated south stand that will be completed by 23/24 season REALLY?? Is this possible, no development in about 4 to 5 months? Lost track its been so long.
Wasn't the south stand previously around the 2000 mark?

I don't really agree with no movement around the ground....shame to see the prices go up but I think we were one of the cheapest 2 or 3 out of 24, so I guess it was inevitable at some point if we want to have money to compete.

Main thing for me is its a really good idea to get Season tickets on sale now. We are on a great run, looking for the playoffs. It doesn't take a finance expert to work out we are likely to sell more season tickets overall if we start selling them now rather than waiting a couple of months.
Do think parts of the announcements could be a little better though.
"Eastleigh Football Club can today confirm our season ticket details for the upcoming 2023/24 Vanarama National League season." well, yeah probably, but possibly not. It might just be for a league two season ticket. Thats a legitimate reason for part of the price increase, so why not mention it? I assume the prices listed are the early bird prices and regular prices will be announced in due course after the early bird prices. Have prices gone up a bit too much? possibly. In fairness our gates have been very decent since covid so the prices (still well below average prices for the national league) have a reasomable business case behind them.
Looking online, the main thing which seems to have irked people is the no migration around the ground. Not sure what the reason(s) behind this are? Think it would be very difficult logistically to enforce. Not convinvced it will happen.
Could pick holes in other bits, but main thing is good to get them on sale IMO. Hope we sell a really good amount.

Also mentioned on the Stewart Donald thread.
1) it's only £8.65 per adult per game, IF you go to all 23 games, AND stand. I hope to have attended all 23 games this season but find watching teams like Maidenhead and Halifax (no disrespect intended) 'disposable'.
2) My particular package (admittedly the best around) will go up over 40% year on year. If I'd been a year younger (concession age has increased), it would have gone up 55%.
3) chances of going up this season are pretty small, so I don't think it's in preparation for that. I wonder if we did get into the FL, this would speed up Stewart's participation?
4) the table shows we've had a great season but there are plenty of complaints about style of play, entertainment value, etc.
5) parking prices will now be close to what they charge at the Concorde Club. Since pedestrians and cars are not segregated I don't feel it's particularly safe, especially at night.
I've been sitting with the same group of blokes since we got into the National League, they are all thinking of not renewing/changing their package meaning that we won't be sitting together any more. We won't even be able to stroll round and have a chat before the game/half time of we can't get round the ground.
So it's still a good deal but some people will feel that the price rises are a bit steep. I watch a lot of other levels of football and am tempted to pick and choose my Eastleigh matches in future and watch more of them, a lot of them provide similar entertainment value IMO.

The club have to tread a very thin line, there was always a cost of living crisis but now it's hit the middle class it's news, people will put an end on luxury items, going to football sadly is a luxury in this country. The prices although big rises for some categories, still put us well below most if not all national League clubs, and for the 'most' of our fans base who stand in the terrace sections is represents the cost of the going rate of a step 5 game to watch step 1 football, if you make full use of the ST and at the highest bracket £12 which is about Step 3 going rate. On the migration issue, at peak foot flow around the ground it can become congested, there is limited walking space, but again the club have to be very careful of walking the line between what the fan wants to experience - a traditional non league experience of moving freely - or being confined to X area. I believe if we are going down the route of being confined then every area should atleast have a form of cover. The prices have finally gone up, but that is surely being offset but the near 10 years of SD taking over and very cheap prices, I have seen some people saying these prices will end their watching of Eastleigh FC, ok well you're not an Eastleigh fan, you're just a football watcher which is completely fair enough, you've probably watched football somewhere else before and moved on and you'll move on again, the club has obviously weighed up the amount of fans they will lose against increasing costs and possible new fans. Let's not forget the average national League club loses 700k A YEAR , we have to be very grateful to someone like SD for getting us to this position and even wanting to come back to these headaches. On a slightly separate issue, things to do seem to be rushed through at the club at the moment, bring a friend could have been pushed weeks ago, away travel to Boreham Wood the same, and the lack of info / clarity around ST also backs that up.
A strong supporters club would be able to put up buffers and poll members accordingly on issues as currently it's all a bit up in the air with regards to what happens on a weekly basis.
What is for sure is that if SD comes back he will have big beneficial plans for us so we too have to be realistic in why things might change short and long term.

It's a very difficult balance for the club to get right....think they should have communicated the reasons for the increase instead of just chucking it out there...for instance I'm pretty sure it was cheaper than Winchester for 22/23 and they could have explained about increasing costs when putting the prices out....I'm sure turning on the floodlights isn't cheap, imagine player wages are increasing etc.
