Opinions on whether it would be better for Sunderland to go up , more attractive proposition if a certain chap decides to sell his stake or would it be a more attractive club to keep shares in and stay on? If they don’t go up will the fans turn and said chap decide he has definitely had enough? Be interesting to see what if anything gets decided after the play off final.

Imo the certain chap aka Stewart Donald is more likely to sell his shares if Sunderland don’t get promoted

My thinking was initially that Stewart would get more money for his shares if Sunderland were promoted and that would be better from his point of view, but I can see that if Sunderland do not go up this season I doubt if their fans would be keen on Stewart maintaining his current level of shareholding.

If Sunderland go up the more attractive they become to a prospective buyer I would have thought.

Local papers 'oops North' suggesting Cryptocurrancy group the Fans Together in negotiations to purchase 39% of shares from Stewart and Charlie Methvan.

Looks like a sale is imminent at Sunderland. How this may affect us who knows.
