Or lack of them, have been scarce since Paul McCallum left 2 years ago. At the start of the season l thought the problem was solved with signing Ben House, but that went out of the window months ago. Discuss....

Yeah, it is a concern and I've made a few comments on Ben over the last few weeks. I'm not sure of the answer to this but when you have a center fowerd coming so deep to pick up the ball that automatically leaves you short up front, leaving Tyrone isolated. This is ok if you put it on his head or to his feet but his not the type of player making a lot of runs, so in my opinion the two fowerds can't play off each other set up like this. I like both players but you very rarely see them link up play.

I have watched Eastleigh since 2016-17 season. We have had Madron and McCallum as good goal scores for one season each. I wasn't particularly a fan of either. In this time Eastleigh have looked poor in front of goal. This has lead to inconsistent form. We may or may not reach the play off positions at the end of any season. Eastleigh are not strong enough up front to launch a genuine promotion push. Eastleigh need two proven goal scorers at National League level to move forward. Not easy, when every other team wants the same.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again , Get those under performing chumps on shooting practice . No shots means no goals, no goals means cannot win . 5. Days this week practicing WILL mean goals in the next few games

I do not think I have seen enough recent games to comment on how the team is playing, but in the last six matches there has been one good home win, an away point against the team with the best home record in the division, one comprehensive defeat and two losses and a draw in which we took the lead, in the drawn match on two occasions. Is the inability to hold on to leads due mainly to the forwards not doing more orb to other weaknesses in the team?
One poster has said that the forwards are playing fairly deep. It is that because it is their best chance of getting the ball, or if they played further forward would more chances be coming their way, and is the problem that we are wasting chances or not creating them?
Having said that in statistical terms our defensive record does look a bit better than our attacking record especially now the Dover match has been excluded.
