SD built upon past successes. He moved on. So, why would he come back to Eastleigh? Is this not wishful thinking?

You're missing the two main factors here, firstly he is still our landlord owning the ground. Secondly he initially gave control of the club to 4 people @ 25p each to legally own the club at the nominal fee of £1. The club is worth a few million, so if he was not coming back, he'd have sold it properly don't you think? There will be a second coming at some point.

Not sure. The £1 fee is a legal fee paid on the transfer of ownership. If he owns the ground, then it is guaranteed income. In life, are we not often warned, 'never go back?' Who knows... it would be great to see Eastleigh competitive and successfully promoted into the league.
