This is a football forum - politics has no place here.

why not? its the off season, lighten up a bit.
Besides which it has been done in a football setting and the subject is talking about it from a football perspective.

The BLM website was the real thing. Trust me. I can tell the difference.
As for the various newspapers that is red herring territory. It is not a credible argument to say that someone's writing is wrong because a certain newspaper decided to publish it. It's just another kind of prejudice. Any genuine argument with the real life experiences which are talked about by Esther Krakue in her article should be based on the article itself and its contents.

The original post was fine but others have turned it into a political one. I’m happy to lighten up but football and politics don’t mix.

Hardly a 'light' subject, is it?
There is an 'Off Topic' section on the forum. I think it should have been there in the first place.

Glad to see top former players now expressing their horror what BLM UK is all about and have decided to remove their BLM badges. So The Daily Mail exclusive was lies was it? And the contents of their agenda for BLM was taken down off their website within hours of the paper printing the evidence. I fully support the issue of racism and it has no place in society as far as I am concerned but you can't support what the UK arm of BLM are demanding from society, that won't solve anything.

Guys, guys. This is supposed to be a football forum not a political one.
This debate has gone far beyond the killing of a black guy. It is now about taking sides.
There is no right or wrong, it's all down to your point of view and your definition of a racist, ie. If I make a stereo type joke about a scotsman is that racist?
In these troubled times we should be loving each other not hating.
Respect and common sense are two most underused words.

I agree swb however I reserve the right to defend my comments about the BLM UK movement when someone suggests it was all lies and we should not believe what is written by newspapers or websites. That comment suggested I was stupid to do so and I now feel vindicated. I trust you see my point on that, being accused of telling lies.

I really don't give a monkey's cuss. We have more than enough bad things going on at present without all the racial bad feelings trying to take over. I would like to say to all these antagonists, 'Stop it. In the name of whatever you hold dear, stop it'

You might not give a monkey's cuss...but I do, and that's the end of it.

I will guarantee as soon as crowds are back this knee nonsense will stop. They will be shouted down and in my view rightly so.

Politics should be kept out of sport, racism is wrong and footballers should support the FA's "Kick it out" program and not get involved with BLM UK or USA which BOTH have ulterior motives that have nothing to do with racism.
