Once again the silence on here speaks volumes. Also why was the supporters bus cancelled?

Not a lot to shout about other than the strange fact Eastleigh was the biggest football match in the country on Saturday. A strange quiz question for the future. Surely Tuesday won't go ahead.

Once again the silence on here speaks volumes. Also why was the supporters bus cancelled? Not sure what your point is. I went Saturday as had a weekend away booked. Until the second goal went in we were in the game. If Payne could deliver a decent corner or free kick we might have gone in at 1-1 at h-t. He did get some good tackles in. Both the first two goals came, to my mind, from defensive errors. The first in letting a player run 20 yards unchallenged and the second standing two yards off a player on the edge of the penalty area. Not seen us play 4-3-3 and I think the players are still getting used to it. Was good to see Barnett getting more involved in midfield winning the ball and playing it off. Grubb does not look match sharp to me. Notts County are a side in form and they also have a set up that is better than this league (although so do Chesterfield and Wreham but it has not done them any good). What were you expecting?

Oh and I thought 192 away fans not bad - was expecting to almost be sat on my own!

You call it defensive errors. I call it utter rubbish. Talk on the way back was we were dire..not just Me, a lot of us said the same. As for the 192...loads were locals wanting to see a game.
Why was the supporters bus cancelled?

'Until the second went in'? Don't think so. After Barnett missed that glancing header it was only a matter of time. Slow and deliberate (obvious) attacks from us throughout. I'm willing to bet a gold pig there was a disgruntled team coach grumbling its way to Notts on Saturday morning.

Hello all, Chester FC supporter here. My team didn’t have a game on Saturday so I went on a groundhop to your game as I had never visited Meadow Lane before. I have compiled a match vlog which shows all of the goals, plus much more, so feel free to watch if you wish: youtu.be/yieV9N0mj74Best of luck to you for the rest of the season. Thanks, Rio Doherty.
