Well our first away win for ages ,great to see Mr. Barnett get both goals, also interesting to see Mr.Baldwin and Mr. Grubb getting yellows obvs wanted to get stuck in and make their mark. However it must have been pants to concede in the 2nd minute to the bottom placed team, thats going to take some dressing up !!

I thought we were very lucky tonight, but I’m very happy,at last a win!!!fair play to the boys and for playing right to the final whistle.my only concerns are that we seem to disappear for long periods and seem to get overrun a lot.well that’s what it sounded like on the radio, anyway a win is a win and that’s 3 big points.on to Wrexham with a bit of confidence hopefully.up the spits!!!!

Don’t get carried away could’ve been 3 or 4 down before we scored. 3 defeats and a draw from next 4 league games ? . We will see where that leaves us .

Its reality. I've seen it all before. Teams performing badly for weeks get ONE win and suddenly all is redeemed. Trust me..it ain't.

As one who was there last night agree that we got out of jail and against another team could have and should have lost. We have to be positive and look to stay in this league. We are restricted with our budget so unless things change we may always be in the same position.

I would say that there are no easy games in this league and we do not have a divine right to beat anybody.
I think that after we had a run of four successive league defeats three of which were away and the other a home defeat in which we played well enough to get something out of some people were convinced we were in freefall.
However I said in an earlier post that I thought an average of 1.5 points per home game and 1 point per away game would represent a reasonable return and despite some disappointments on the way that is in terms of league games exactly what the last eight home games and the last seven away games have yielded.
