Funny thing. No-one has mentioned Josh Hare to Bristol Rovers & Mark Yeates to AFC Fylde today. No surprises they've left, really and given where he lives, Fylde is a perfect fit for MY. The specific forum threads on these players have been updated recently - but you're right, many people probably haven't read their Twitter yet!
There's not much about it on Facebook (first update was after 8pm), and nothing on the website. That might be why...

He is seriously big - one HUGE advantage as far as I am concerned.

I’ve updated the first post with first team players for next season, to keep a running list of players we have for next year. Let me know if I’ve missed anyone!

Make that Ben Williamson. Looks like we could do with another one or two up front. Looking a little light in that department.

Yes indeed, definitely need another striker or two. Wouldn’t mind seeing us get another keeper, maybe a young up and coming. Although we are probably saving wages having Flitney as stand in keep and keep coach!

Saw this earlier and was somewhat confused, until I realised it's a different Jack Payne. Phew!!

Strevs said in his interview last night that there would be 1 more player in. Maybe 2 but more than likely just the 1.
So will it be another striker? (Or is Sam Smart filling that role this year) Will it be a full-back who can fill in for Greener/Parts? Or a winger/attacking mid as we only really have 1 at the moment.
I still think that only 1 more in leaves the squad really tight to do a whole season with. Time will tell but if the season is to be successful it might be down to how lucky we are with injuries!

Yep, it's as well we don't have the restriction of a transfer window at National League level. Also we hopefully have the contacts to be able to access the loan market, which we might need to.

Absolutely. Loan signings will need to be used I think. Generally once the transfer window closes we see league clubs looking to the national leagues for players they want to send out for experience etc. Have to wait for those ones unfortunately and hopenothers don’t get there first.

I wonder if any of the triallists will be amongst the one or two signings. Some people might remember John Goddard scoring for Woking against Eastleigh on the final day of the3 season when a win was needed to have a chance of a playoff place.
For most of the players who turned down the offer of a contract a replacement has been signed who can play in the original player's position even if we may think that the replacement is less good. However are any of the new signings wide men like Mark Yeates?
Actually when money is tight the club make some good loan signings. Shortly before Bridle took over the club signed Michael Green on loan and he has proved to be one of the best signings the club ever made.
