Surely "all the remnants of the Richard Hill era" is the entire current playing squad, which is madness.

RH had a couple of bids for him rejected in the summer. Maybe we’ll move again now and then aldershot can replace through Jan. I understand he was keen on a move but Aldershot didn’t want to sell to us. His contract is up this summer so maybe he’ll refuse a new one and come back before August? Please no. He is good at this level but has a nine iron for a right foot. I'd like to see a fresh broom finally sweep out all the remnants of the Richard Hill era (Constable, Macallister, Flitney etc) and for the team to completely move on with a fresh outlook that belongs to Hessanthaler. Constable is going no where, No disrespect to SD but as long as he is here JC is going to be here. When RH was in charge JC was one of 2 or 3 players giving 100% he may not of been scoring goals but he wasn't expected to in midfield then RH done what he does best an dropped him and hasn't been starting so often since.

No question that Ricky Miller did very well at Dover last season, prompting Posh to take a punt on him, however, if you look at his record prior to Dover, it's not brilliant. Chris Kinnear has a great knack of turning some average players into exceptional ones at this level, but that form doesn't always readily transfer to other clubs. If Ricky Miller is surplus to requirements at Posh, is wanted by AH & wants to come to the Silverlake on loan so we can assess how he might fit into our set up, that's great. But I wouldn't be wanting to pay money for him. How about transfer Chris Kinnear in as manager and sure Miller would follow him anywhere he goes as he's only ever done well under him.

1) Sorry but no chance of getting Howe back, we've now only got 1 CB so Howe is surely going to play alongside him 2) I think most Lincoln fans would be happy to drive Ollie Palmer to Eastleigh themselves. A lot of pace and a good work rate but 1)he can't head a ball, he rarely wins them,(Even though he's 6"5) and he assisted an opposition goal against Notts County with a header from the half-way line and 2) he always tries to win the ball and always without fail gives a foul away. With the right team he could be made into a very good Forward, but Lincoln isn't that club

We've got a couple of centre backs you can have instead of Howe, they will only play once every 10 or 15 games between them but they are big and strong 😆😆

Goal scoring hasn't been the issue this season - it has been our inability to defend and keep clean sheets. 21 games it has been since our last which ironically was against Guiseley.
Why?
Stack & Flitney constantly fighting injury has been one reason (all be it Stack in particular has kept us in games at times) but again - age issue?
I don't actually think Howe & Boyce are a good partnership. Both good players don't get me wrong but as with all our centre halfs in the past - lack pace. Both are ball winners and I think Boyce in particular has been found out a couple of times in the last 20 minutes of games this season.
Hoyte has done ok at full back, Wood is not a natural full back and simply covering for Greener who we will be without for a while.
Cresswell & Reda together would probably be the best pairing in the league by a mile, how many times have they actually played? let alone together.
Miley has come on massively and for me is now the first name on the team sheet along with Matthews.
Hollands lacks pace and Togwell well.. let's hope it was a quiet Christmas!

I can't wait for Mark Childs to get back in the first team, that can't come soon enough in my opinion based on the form he showed before he stupidly got loaned out & injured.

Well, it looks as if Callum Howe is on his way back to Lincoln this next week. Will miss him, he has done a fantastic job whilst here at the club. Good luck Cal....

Think we need to get a few players in to strengthen the team, can’t rely on loan players all the time!

I see this as an ideal opportunity to reintroduce Mr. Cresswell and Mr. Johnson who were apparently 2 weeks away from full fitness, some four weeks ago as my memory serves me

Have to say they don't seem to be the future. Millstones around necks.

I know we said this all last season, it feels like we are on an extended pre-season before August to get a squad ready for next season to compete at the sharp end of the table. This season we are a midtable squad and will finish around the middle I think. defaintely some decent players in the squad so hopefully we will add a few quality players before next august and then we can hit the ground running next season
be nice to finish this season on a good run, we never really did that last season
