RH
Weeks in position 9
Results
P 12 W 4 33% L 6 50% D 2 17%
MA
Weeks in position 12
P 14 W 2 14% L 7 50% D 5 36%
So, even if we win on Saturday, RH would have lost the same %age of games as MA.

Goes to show stats don't prove everything then!
RH's points per game is better, by the way, on the numbers you have here. Given the situation when he came in, I think that's important.

Way to go to catch Ronnie Moore's 10-7-4 record at the club

RH had one brief when he came to the club - avoid relegation. We have done so comfortably. When MA came to the club the aim was to push for a play off place, he failed miserably. So if we are comparing RH and MA, its a simple equation:
RH Success MA failure.

Not RH side, he had to work with side MA had put together.

In fairness to Martin Allen he had to work with a side put together by CT & RM - when the 3rd manager of the season comes in in early December its a likely sign that things haven't been going very well! But that's generally the way when a new manager comes in, the majority of the time they will inherit a struggling side, otherwise the old manager would have stayed on!
I think when MA came in most of us were pleased with the appointment and thought we'd make a serious playoff challenge and finish in the top 8. His previous record in this league and above gave cause for that optimism. Of course that never happened.
When RH came in we were W10 D12 L11 with a budget probably in the top 5 for this league. Had we been relegated from that position it would have been an pretty terrible achievement IMO.

I think most of us would agree that RH is certainly not the answer long term or even for next season.

I think you might find that there could be a majority in favour of RH for next season and going forward.
Unfortunately there are a fair few of the we must get promoted now brigade who will support your thoughts.

If ppl did want a 33pc win ratio manager and someone who has presided over the passionless, gutless and unprofessional debacles at north ferrisby and Solihull to continue in the role for a brand new season I suggest we get everything we deserve next year. Why would anybody new buy a season ticket for that?

Gonna miss you when you're gone Will. Best wishes at your new team with your higher win ratios, I've decided to get a season ticket right here and am very happy xx
