I note the original link of him signing for Gillingham has now been removed! It was strange, had about 250 words about his career to date, but Eastleigh weren't mentioned once. Big error by Gillingham and (quite possibly) Bondz as well. I believe Gillingham signed him to the end of the season, possibly he is still entitled to those wages?! I believe the contract he signed with Eastleigh ran until Summer 2018 but that was presumably cancelled a few days ago. Very strange saga all in all. I'm sure there is more to this whole story than has been reported, but exactly what, when & why has happened who knows?! Yep I noticed that when I read it earlier - nothing about transfer or playing at Eastleigh at all !

Am I reading this correctly? By negotiating his release from his £60,000 transfer, has Bondz N'Gala made himself unemployable until next season? Will he come back to us, with his tail between his legs? I don't know the facts, but it looks as he has got his comeuppance. He certainly didn't show us any loyalty.

The fact that he can't play for 3 teams seems to be an admin cock up by Gillingham - especially if he has put pen to paper which the original article would suggest as he could be entitled to pay but not allowed to play ! If there is no 'history' with MA, maybe we could get him back on loan lol

I believe that Matt Tubbs has played for three National League teams this season, but I believe he played for Woking as a loan player. If non-contract players are also treated differently could he play for Gillingham as a non-contract player.

Not sure about the rules re non-contract plaeyers.
Perhaps we could re sign him and then loan him out to Gillingham?
Can anyone think of an appropriate loan fee? :0)

Can't see how he can go out on loan as he has no club to go on loan from

Well no, quite.
But if he re-signed for us, he could then presumably go out on loan (to anybody!)
Obviously we are well in the land of the far fetched :0)

Great interview, refreshing to hear him speak with convincing honesty. Well done Stewart.

Listening to the interview, it still does not makes sense to me. Why not wait to the end of the season and then try and sell him? With Creswell out injured we need him now. Doubt if we are saving money by releasing him as we because we would of had to pay off his contract.
My thoughts are that Stewart must of had the same thoughts on Ronnie Moore, back the manager as he has the experience. MA has come in an seen what is wrong and changed everything. Who is to say what MA is doing is right? Do we totally change direction again if MA does not work out?

Can that man inspire you...what a fantastic interview, if you feel a bit down about our season, just listen to him, he don't half make you feel better afterwards....onwards and upwards then we go!!!!!

If him playing for us in the National league counts as playing for 2 "professional" clubs this season (as NL is now counted as professional) and therefore couldn't play for Gillingham, how is Dover (in the same league as us obviously) any different? Am I missing something blindingly obvious here?
