In fairness I think Stuart Fleetwood played an important part in getting the team promoted to this level and at the time of signing was regarded as the club's best signing ever, having been at one time leading scorer in the Conference National.

He wasn't the same man after getting injured in the famous victory at Bromley. The day I knew that we would win the title.

I liked Fleetwood. I just didn't think he fit for us, at the time and it seemed to me he really struggled to motivate himself.
That said, he's still only 30. What a waste of talent.

I see his debut lasted 20 mins today and went off with a head injury to A&E. Surely he cant have contested a header ?

Wishing Stuart a speedy recovery. The idea of Stuart contesting a header is in my view more plausible than that of his former manager at Sutton doing so during his playing days, with all respect to what the latter has achieved as a manager.
