Ill pay £5 a week towards his wages.

Aaron Martin doesn't need to drop 2 levels at this stage of his career. He will be looking to push on to becoming an established L1 defender, probably with aspirations of proving himself at Championship level if the luck goes his way. Apart from when he had a spell out injured, he has pretty much played every game for Coventry this season. So although they have chosen not to renew his contract, i'm sure he will have clubs from L1 looking at him.

Have to agree with Sattsy's comments on this one. Unless Aaron wants to move back down south, at his age why would he drop two levels? So I don't think there's any point in us getting our hopes up on such a move for him. But stranger things have happened............. ..

A lovely lad, I hope he gets a decent move. Didn't really think there was a hope in hell of him joining us, but if we are looking to win the Conference, we are going to need some pretty impressive players, and if we should go up, with a dynamic chairman, there could certainly be a lot worse clubs to be playing for over the next couple of seasons.

Agree with much of the above, worth an enquiry!
Over the last few years I am sure there are a number of players we never thought we'd sign as they'd join a club a league or two higher.
Long shot though without a doubt.
