Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest, I reckon. These things take time, you know.

.....Good player when he puts his mind to it....... Doesn't that describe a lot of our squad last season? Doesn't sound like much of an upgrade to me!

New signing to be announced at 20.30 tonight. I hope so, been waiting since 08:30 and dared to dream of all these marquee signings and then realising that we could have signed Tubbs......

Posting at 20.40. It doesn't say which day at 20.30 the announcement will be. My guess is still Tues or Weds.

Hope you're recovery is a speedy one SOE and that your new knee is ready for next season. Certainly don't blame you for going for a general anaesthetic!!
As for you being a panic manic fan, wouldn't the forum be a boring place if everyone had the same opinion?!!

Speedy recovery Keith. Indeed you are correct that forum would be very boring if we all shared the same opinion.

Anyone else seen this on Adam Blackmores Twitter? It's from Stewart Donald, sounds awesome. What a fantastic club he is building!
Point 5 sounds great, an exciting week next week.

Four top signings then hopefully this week to announce...great news if all comes off.
Operation news.....In tremendous pain today anaesthetic wearing off and painkillers not helping much. Going to be a battle to be able to make my parents diamond wedding celebration dinner next Monday...the hall knee op was easy to cope with, a full knee replacement is something else...as SunnySaturdays said...no pain no gain but crikey!!!!!

Hope you've got some serious painkillers from the hospital - none of these namby-pamby over the counter types - Stick to opiates. Good luck for Monday.

I'd imagine you would be on an 'as needed' morphine pump so that you just press a button when in pain and it will deliver a dose (and no - you can't overdose on it or keep pressing it to get much bigger doses!!). Orthopaedic surgery is very painful and I don't think I'd be too impressed if they just gave me a bit of paracetamol/ibuprofen! Be warned though - the physios are there getting you up and about pretty much as soon as you wake up from the anaesthetic and as soon as you can do the stairs that's it - home!! Get well soon
