Floor to ceiling windows so views across the pitch instead of brick and windows

Glass floor? Surely he meant glass front? What like the floor at the Pompey 7-year late Millennium tower?

Just back from a week near Budva in Montenegro. The local football club there are FK Mogren who have won the national first division in recent seasons but are now in the second division. The current Mrs Nobadspitfire (no, she doesn't answer to that name) & I walked past their "stadium" on a couple of occasions. It would nowhere near qualify for Wessex League standard. Anyway, please bear with me. The "stadium" is a stone's throw from Budva beach & having read the club's Wikipedia page, the land on which they play is wanted for hotel development. No surprise there, but the plans are to re-locate the club to a 15000 capacity stadium built on the roof/top (4th) floor of the hotel!! Somehow, I don't see it happening. So, there Stewart, is how they plan to build a stadium in Montenegro. It'll never happen, of course, but putting a stadium on the roof of a building would certainly solve our pitch drainage problems. So there's any idea to pitch to Eastleigh Borough Council!!!

Surely on top of a car park! :-) Obviously on a multi storey one to avoid any further parking complaints

Looks like a great facility and it will raise much better revenue as a conference venue. My questions would be what will happen to the existing club house? Will the shed end by extended? The other thought is how this new building will fit in to the bigger longer term vision for the stadium?

I can't quite zoom in properly but it appears to me that the current clubhouse will be kept, which makes sense.
Shed end doesn't look like being extended.
As for stadium I think its gonna be done in bit and bobs TBH. Can't see anything else (clubhouse aside) happening before next summer.

I wonder where this fits in with the stadium design that we were shown a few months back. Where all 4 sides of the stadium were joined all around the ground. I mean the one that was taken from a Latvian stadium model or somewhere like that? Are we not going that route anymore? Are we just building new adhoc buildings as & when they are needed?

No still going for that albeit we will leave the shed end as terracing I think - subject to a fans forum/consultation. This building will just sit behind the shed end thats all. We have put this in first as the rest of the stadium needs a long consultation with the council and realistically means about 3 - 6 months before we can submit full planning. However we needed to do something to give ourselves a better experience in the meantime and deal with some of the issue around the existing match day. The new executive club will seat over 300 people and the clubhouse downstairs around 550 - 600 drinkers.
We suffered many times last year on getting people in the clubhouse and the facilities inside are an issue. The executive club is over subscribed and I feel if we can offer a better experience we can get numbers up massively which will make a huge difference on the long term sustainability etc.
We need a more practical clubshop, offices and police centre and the portakabins are poor for all this. Also we need a better kitchen and more room for dishwahers so we can have proper glasses!!! Which is worth the money alone as I like you and quite a few others absolutely hate the plastic drinking experiences. It is one thing that really affect me so I appreciate others frustration. So we have lots dishwashers coming from WHU and will be in the new building. There were plans in the Latvian design for a clubhouse at the north end we have just done it first as its needed now and we did not want to wait and that end has been modified as if we want to keep terracing we can just crack on here.
The existing clubhouse will probably become a bar outside the ground and the new one a bar inside the ground and then we can accommodate away fans before the game as well. We will again discuss this with fans before we finish the new build.
