Attached - with thanks to the Grimsby forum. Thanks to our 'away days' we come in at over 100. I wasn't surprised who was top. Attachments:

Top 11 are all ex-league clubs - no surprise there.

Pretty pointless chart seeing as 5 away attendances of ours are missing.

It was the latest he could get hold of, and I thought any comparision was better than nothing.
Don't know where the data comes from, and why our 'unknowns' are so high - who at the club gives them out? I don't think our missing away trips had very high numbers.
If you can find a later one.....

Give Rendel a bit of time & he'll confirm that figure of 118 is close or not. There is a thread somewhere, where he's been keeping details of our away attendances, some accurate, some estimated.

Sorry mate wasn't having a pop at you in any way just find it strange there's missing attendances seeing as they are so freely available. Gateshead the other Tuesday , no segregation or separate turnstiles, they gave an Eastleigh count of a nice round 25 , the next day me and my mate counted up to 40.

Thanks, that's useful - shows they're not particularly accurate anyway when we do get them - as I said, not sure who actually collects them, nor where the Grimsby bloke got them from.
Or who Rendel has to tell about our numbers.....

Its run by a Woking fan and is a reasonable estimate of things - though invariably estimates for Woking are a bit on the high side and generally estimates for EFC might be a bit on the low side. For example the figure given for Eastleigh at Woking was 100 last season and the figure for Woking at Eastleigh 400. Both are unofficial figures but I believe the general consensus was the differential for those games was around two fold and not four fold.
For no particular reason I have kept track as best I could of our away following this season:
Southport (44) Welling 55* Aldershot (199) Barrow 45* Altrincham 23* Chester 50* Wrexham (50) Tranmere (60) Cheltenham (401) Dover 40* Guiseley 45* Macclesfield 27* Bromley (68) Boreham Wood (125) Lincoln City (66) Kidderminster (53) Gateshead (25) Forest Green (362)
an average of 97 with 11 official & 7 unofficial figures.
Obviously official figures are best, but I reckon some are definitely on the low side. I think seated fans are definitely missed out sometimes.
Gateshead, as mentioned above, was quite possibly more than 25. Forest Green I have read a few times; that many thought the number was more than 362. Bromley on boxing day, IIRC we had about that number (68) on the coaches, heard 3 estimates from EFC fans all guessing between 100 and 120.
Anyway official figures I still think must still be taken "as is".
Unofficial figures (which are generally games that are unsegregated) and we will normally be our smaller away followings, I have guessed figures based on coach lists/video footage and those that were there. Its always a bit tricky as people don't stand in the same place, some sit, am sure some of our fans are not "known" to folks on this forum.
Hopefully we can end up with 100+ average!

Clearly, for the future what is required is for some keen person to count all EFC fans at away games. That.way we'll have reliable statistics.

A few years back when still in Conference South I saw Rendel many a time actually counting the fans as he stood behind the goal...it was easier then obviously!!! Don't forget that man had his dog with him Rendel!!!!!
